your lockup issue may be from not having enough ram to run windows and the game you are attempting to play. get 2 more gigs.gearsofhalogeek
Interesting, that is the first time I've heard that suggestion. I'm only running windows XP, for clarification. Is there a way I could determine if my current amount of RAM was insufficient?

Sorry about the font. If I change it to white I can't see what I'm typing in the response

Crashes, only when you play games? In crash, do you mean. Game closes out, blue screen of death, computer restarts?

By crash I mean the screen goes black and the computer locks up. I'm unable to do anything and all programs stop running

Hey guys. I had a question about testing hardware. For a good while now, I've had all my PC games crash the computer to reboot whenever I'll play them. I don't believe this is a driver or software issue, as I've reformated multiple times (over the course of almost 2 years now) to try and fix the issue without any success. I've ran memtest to check if my ram was good and I had no error. How do I go about checking other components?

Note: My computer has never crashed while not running games.

Here are my specs, although I'm not sure it is needed. P5B Deluxe Motherboard, Core 2 Duo 6400 @ 2.13, 2gb of DDR2 RAM, and a Radeon X1950X with 512 mb, and a 750 watt power supply. This computer was built in late 2006. I've only changed 1 thing, and that was a 7900GT NVidia card that failed

He has no idea what he is talking about. I recently picked up Tabula Rasa when it was being sold for 97 cents, and have been enjoying the game. No plans to shut down, and no announcements from NCsoft.

EDIT: Yeah, what is said is actually true. Sorry, I fail. =[

By Baulders gate, I asume you are talking about the console version...not the PC version.cobrax75
I am going to guess and say the PC version. He has a tag of Xfire in his sig, and Diablo is also a PC game.

And besides, the PC version is far superior.

Actually, what Wikipedia said is 100% right. No prestige mode on the PC verison, but I am almost positive it takes longer to level up.

I probably like Baldur's Gate and Diablo equally but for completely different reasons.

To this day, the conversations and the depth of the combat blow me away, and I am always learning new things and trying out new classes.

Diablo to me was a multiplayer experience. I remember when I first got the game, sitting alone in the dark playing co op with my friend when we encountered the Butcher. Still one of my favorite video game moments.
