@jeremy-: I agree completely, f-ing stupid mindless implementation, a lot of sites do this, I think there used to be a firefox plugin that kept this from happening, but of course, users shouldn't have to fix broken interfaces with plugins....sigh....
(ironically while typing this I encountered another bug whereby I cannot remove the bold typeface on the above two lines? clean or remove format did not work. sigh.)
In either event, back to comment history. I go to my comment history it says 5 posts, when I click it, it tells me nothing is here. Where are my comments?
This particular thread is 9 months old, yet there are all these other threads, some of which are OVER SIX YEARS OLD!
Here are just a few of them to prove my point.

LOL! In conclusion, obviously one of two things are happening:
1.
(most likely)
gamespot doesn't give a flying poop about fixing this . In which case it's a real shame to have such a nice clean interface from so many perspectives, ruined by a few crucial design flaws, which make it frustrating and ultimately unusable, I wonder if this fact will ever appear in any powerpoints when someone finally realizes that their user base is much less than they might have hoped for.
2.
I'm being shadowbanned for some reason, and this shadowbanning system is based on IP Address, who knows, I'm not really into doing other people jobs for free, but should I have time I will change my ip and/or use another computer with a different ip to see if my comments are even showing up and it's not just a profile bug. In that case everything is working as intended. However, judging by the bugs I experienced by just typing this rant, I doubt it's intentional.
P.S. I'm reposting this on reddit, which has a lot of its own issues, but at least I know it will show up and if later I feel like I sounded insane and/or feel bad about calling out incompetent gamestop user interface developers, I can always go back and check my history and delete it.
Furthermore...as if I didn't rant enough, gamestop people, if you don't start seeing your users as valuable assets who are basically GIVING you free content, since I like reading the comments more than some of the articles, then you will eventually get what you deserve when you fade into irrelevance. When someone invests time to type something, only to have it deleted, it's more than annoying, it's a game killer.
