It's $50 bucks here, but I still wouldn't order over Steam. If I'm going to be paying the same price as retail I might as well just get the case (Also still waiting for the demo so I might pre-order after I see how it runs on my PC). I can't imagine paying more for a digital copy than the retail version, that's just rediculous.

I dunno, it runs pretty well for me. I run it with everything maxed out except without shadows at 1680 x 1050 on a 4870, E8400 @ 3Ghz, and 4Gs of DDR2 ram. Make sure you run the game with the clip capture feature off, it goes a bit slower when its on.
Edit: Also, I forgot to mention I like to use the Ultimate Graphics Tweak with the game, it makes it run a little bit smoother imo:

Yeah, I agree, I'm pretty sure this ins't a port. I think i read somewhere on their forums that this was primarily built for the PC. The only thing that annoys me is the Physx since I don't have NVidia, but other than that it looks pretty great.
There have been quite a few games that I have been disappointed with the ending, but the most recent thing that comes to mind has to be Borderlands. To me, it was so bad that I had trouble even picking up the multiplayer again. Perhaps the worst ending(s) I have ever seen were in Alone in the Dark. I remember staring blankly at the screen as the credits were rolling, and for a few seconds I was in disbelief that the developers would let such an awful excuse for an ending come to exist. Oh yeah, and Fallout 3's was pretty terrible, too.
[QUOTE="Jesus_on_fire"]Exactly this. I hate when this happens. :( This also happened with that Cryostasis giveaway thread. :cry:Man it sucks, i always see these kind of threads on this board all the time and im always too late to cash in on it :(

This is like the 4th time this has happened to me. I always miss out on the deals :(!
Guybrush Threepwood is certainly more badasterick than any of these guys. If not him, then definitely Auron from FF10.
I think one of the scariest games I've ever played was the panoramic horror game Scratches. Although it wasn't the scariest, I got an error on the game that made it one of the scariest moments I've had playing horror games. Long story short, I manuvered through something (I won't go to far into detail for the sake of preserving the scare for the people that play :)) to get to a point where there was no option to move or turn at all. It seemed like there should have been a cinematic or something but nothing was happening for about 30 seconds. I alt-tab out to find that there was a windows error that stopped the game. So I started it back up, got to the same place and it seemed like the same thing was happening. I sat there for another couple seconds getting ready to alt-tab back, and out of nowhere scary horror music turns on and you see something move in front of you. I almost had to stop playing for the night :D.
With the Steam sale this may have been overlooked.
Call Of Duty Special bundle - COD 2 - 4 29.99
Pnumbra collection 4.95
The Witcher DC 9.95
Ghostbusters 9.95
The rest are on Steam for the same price.

Thanks for brining this to my attention, I was able to get The Witcher cheaper from here and GTA IV cheaper from steam :).
I'm thinking about getting GTA IV to try out some of the mods to hold me over while I wait for The Witcher to get here after I order it. The deals are pretty meh today, but I would definitely pick Monkey Island if you like adventure games and don't already have it.
