@Sevenizz What about the first game they previewed? Looked very much like a kids game. Plus there is the stuff Media Molecule previewed. There's also the fact that no casuals would be watching this (more people will be watching E3) and it's a waste of time showing stuff for them.
This wasn't even a show for gamers, it was for investors - That's why they got all these developers up on stage showing games and in videos talking about how easy it will be to develop for it.
Square Enix were the worst part of the presentation by far. Old japanese guy with terrible english gets on stage, replays a video from E3 last year, says "Oh yeah, there's gonna be a new Final Fantasy this year" and leaves. Like that was supposed to get us excited. Made me more annoyed by SE and made me lose any last remnants of faith I had in them altogether by delivering such a piss poor presentation. They just shouldn't have come.
They think they have enough goodwill to get away with that when in reality it's the exact opposite.
@SadPSPAddict The game is a fun casual game, but isn't worth $40 (for 3, but that's irrelevant) and isn't suited to ps3/xbox controls. Rovio took a gamble on stupid people buying this instead of getting it on iOS/Android and they won.
Looks like the idiotic, prepubescent fanboys are crawling out of the woodwork here. You people are missing the point. It's not that the PS4 won't have impressive hardware specs, it will - it's just that it's not the main selling point.
Of course it's getting beefed up hardware - It's Sony and that's what they do, plus it's been 8 years since the PS3 was announced. Beefed up hardware is not going to differentiate them from the competition as it's expected with advances in technology. New and exciting features like biometrics will. If the PS4 has enhanced connectivity with Android phones and biometrics where it can sense my emotions then it's an insta-buy.
Nope. Even as a hardcore Assassin's Creed fan there is NO WAY I'm buying another one after how badly they screwed up the ending of AC3. After seeing that slap in the face it was clear that money was now the driving force behind the AC series rather than story.
