I don't understand what has got people so upset about this comparison. OF COURSE Halo Reach is going to look better graphically. It's a newer game and Bungie has had time and experience to maximize the graphic potential of the 360. Halo 3 still looks fantastic and the models of weapons and vehicles are certainly different as the game takes place later in the Halo timeline. But saying one is better than the other graphically or by weapon models does not take away from the fact that both games are incredible experiences. Hell, while it is dated, I still like playing the original Halo. People need to just enjoy the games and not get in such an uproar.

My only concern about social gaming is that, because of low cost and quick development, the experience of gaming will be cheapened. If companies can make a quick buck by developing some lame half-assed farm game that is directed at old ladies, they may be inclined to stop making the AAA titles that have been the core of gaming since its inception. I'm sorry, but I'm just not ready to see Halo, Final Fantasy, and Street Fighter fade into obscurity. I don't mind the gaming industry growing. I don't mind more and more gamers from untapped demographics finally realizing that gaming is fun. I just hope that companies don't flock so much to Social Games that they forget the Hardcore Gamers along the way. If that happens, the next Final Fantasy could suffer in quality and actually become THE FINAL Fantasy.

DLC has massive potential. It is still in it's infancy which means developers, publishers, and distributors are all still kind of getting their feet wet. They are all trying things to see what will make the consumer more apt to buy. Of course, some are ripping us off. Others are trying experimental tbings as add ons. But we all must realize that companies and gamers will all find a common ground eventually. It'll just take time. Fighting games should stick with new characters, additional game modes, and balancing tweaks. Action and FPS games should stick to multiplayer modes and side stories to fleah out the full game itself. Other genres will find their place. When they all do we will be happier and better off as gamers. Our hard earned money will be well spent. It'll just take time.

I am eagerly awaiting news on Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy XIII Agito. I just want to know more about both titles. I am also very excited about Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I am hopeful of news on the Mirror's Edge sequel as well.

@Vaesive I second that. While I think most spin-offs will continue to be good (and I have enjoyed each especially Crisis Core) I do think it would be great to see a remake. Imagine making Final Fantasy VII with the Crystal Tools engine (used to make Final Fantasy XIII), with fully orchestrated music. It would be incredible. I can see them making it so you can see the enemies and plan your attacks, keep the materia system, have fully open environments rather than tunnels, a map in the corner, and fully voiced characters (with both Japanese and English options). Tell me that wouldn't sell.

I just think the 3DS is too much, too soon. I don't understand the point of even messing with the DSi XL if the new DS model wil be out so quickly.

I bouthg a netbook that I wish I could tell all that it was capable of. It's an Acer One and I absolutely love it. It has the Atom processor and 1Gb of RAM along with a nice harddrive. But I'm not sure how it performs with newer gaming. I guess I'll have to just check it out and see.

I already have the cheaper Mad Catz Fight Stick and I've already cracked it open so I can mod the hell out of it. When it's done, it's going to be wicked sweer! I've got colored buttons on the way to match the color scheme of the 360 layout and the parts I'm modding it with are all official Sanwa parts. I have the Tournament Stick on the way too along with the Fighting Pad controller. I have blown WAY too much money on all this crap... and it's all well worth it to me!

Seems to me that the comparison here was only used to glorify the PC versions of each game. Surprise, surprise! Running a game on a $3000 high-end PC makes games look better than on your $200-$500 Xbox 360 or PS3. Are you in as much shock as I am? This is a lame comparison.

How about $8.99 for Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max for the PSP, BRAND NEW!!!? To me, that's a deal and a half. Also, I was lucky enough to snag a brand new copy of Stranglehold from Best Buy for $9.99. Well worth it!
