Im sorry but Im a HUGE Halo fan but Far Cry 3 should have won.If anyone hasnt played it you're really missing out. Far Cry 3 just came out too late in the year to be properly recognized.
Its not about graphics being what sells the system. True innovation does. But nintendo isnt moving forward they are just being different. Different doesnt innovate if half your system is behind everything else. To move forward graphics DO matter. Im sorry but in order to make bigger better more complex games you need to have more power. More power to display more things on screen or other little stuff that isnt possible on older consoles. I could careless if the games are prettier but at least give your machine the horsepower to compete and do something incredible. Nintendo can still keep their stylized graphics that are great but at least give the option to do something else. More power doesnt have to mean better graphics, just better games. The wii didn't. Terrible controls on 95% of its games. Most of the wii turned into trash games that were gimmicks. And just made for the casual gamer that bought into the wii.
And in case you guys are all behind the times like the wiiu I guess you havent heard that microsoft is about to sink the wiiu once and for all. Check out the wiki section on ign. The next 360 will have ALLLLL of the functions that the wiiu has. Yes, a tablet controller just like the wiiu. Oh and it has good graphics. They are doing it right. They are providing what everyone else does and trying to do it better. Of course its not confirmed that its all true but why wouldnt it be? They are trying to push forward and compete. Its what nintendo needs to do. The black friday sales said enough. 360 sold 750K, wiiu 450K or something and then the ps3 was in the middle. NO, its not because they were sold out cause they are sitting on the shelves here where I live.
And yes Carolyn I WILL go play my 360 cause the games are MUCH better. No I not a fanboy. Im a gamer who is disappointed in Nintendos BS.
@carolynmichelle That is ridiculous actually. I had a wii and it sucked. I had a wiiu reserved and I canceled my preorder. Im not saying that its worthless without achievemnts but why not give what the other are giving and then give more? Face it they are behind the times AGAIN. Crap graphics, crap online, no achievements. Glad I canceled my preorder. And before anyone is like the graphics are just as good at the 360... yeah... and the 360 is outdated and 1 year away from being pushed into the past by the next gen. Ninetendo is lazy now. Im not a fan boy but I expect a respectful company like nintendo to stay on top of things.
