@Sefrix @sejembalm Dunno about remote playing (play game on PS3 and play it on a close-by Vita), but many PS1 games port to the PSP and Vita. Metal Slug X is good, along with Silent Hill (1). Spyro the Dragon on the PSP is... challenging to fly the raceways with only the one stick (the PSP really failed when it only had one stick), but still fun. Really wished they ported the PS1 Bushido Blade 2 game to the PSP/Vita.

@benbonney >I sold my Vita... for its price, the catalogue is just too small

Good move. Although I had fun playing the hell out of Unit 13 at launch, even though it was just a collection of largely unconnected shooter missions. CoD:BOD was a craptastic crime against humanity. The Vita needs a good SOCOM game, or at least a port of SOCOM US Navy SEALs 1, 2, and 3. The PSP really took off for me when SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 2 was relesed and that's still a favorite.

@enoughofthis @sejembalm A competent designer can make small L2 & R2 shoulder buttons inline and behind the L1 & R1 shoulder buttons.

@enoughofthis Indeed! I still play my old PSP, nearly every day, even though that handheld console is showing its age (nearly 9 years old --released in late 2004). The Sony PSP memory cards are expensive, but you can use 3rd party digital camera chips in a PSP carrier. But my Sony 8GB card works fine for game downloads, MP3s, and YouTube videos. The best PSP games are Gladiator Begins, Ace Combat Joint Assault, SOCOM FB2, and Metal Slug. Try 'em for cheap and enjoy!

Vita has been a disappointment for me. Very few games and fewer worth a damn. Great handheld console, but it needed four shoulder buttons and perhaps small L3 & R3 buttons near the sticks. Really wish the PS Vita played PS2 games, such as ports of SOCOM 1 to 3, Onimusha, Mr. Mosquito, GTA3, Mercenaries, Black, etc. I would have absolutely loved it if the Vita was geared as a PS2 handheld with that console's terrific library of games.

I have been playing Gladiator Begins on the PSP since 2010 and it is a terrific game for that little handheld. Works for the Vita as well. I hope Spartacus Legends works well and they make a Vita version to go with the PS3 version.
