Anybody here use their code from the Gamespot Battlefield 3 giveaway tournament? If so how did you enter the serial and where?

I have a Battlefield 3 code from the Beta tournament but the website on the card doesn't allow me to register the code. I have tried registering on PSN but it says my account doesn't have access to the content. Please advise.

Please advise.

Bob McNaughton from blizzard talked about the support of blizzard games & the id thing.New WC3 balance patch woot. Blizzard is the only company that keeps updating their games after over 8 years not like others.

HFkami
Wrong. Valve continues to update all of their games some of which are going on 7 years.

Blizzard are overrated. No LAN no buy. I play it some other way.

ZarbonX
you can still LAN over battle.net a bunch of people did a LAN starcraft 2a n were all sitting next to each other having the best LAN they've ever had in the same room through battle.net the greatest free gaming place ever made so no THEIR IS LAN AND they didn't shut it out of the game you liar

So you're a shill for Blizzard obviously. Let me guess, you supported their attempt to require members on their forum to use their true legal name, right? You support the removal of features that were included in the original Starcraft, right? You want to know about a company that truly goes the extra mile? Look at Valve. Free updates, releasing FREE games that are multiplayer and enjoyable, etc. Its nice to be a shill, isn't it.

No it's not. There are those that will try to convince you that the game servers magically pay for themselves and PC gaming is totally free but that's a lie. These games have a ton of game servers and most of them have a website where you can join their forums and in order to become a member you must pay a monthly fee of $5 - $10 a month.Sure some games have a few sponsored forum but the majority are provided by the community. This money is used to help pay for the game servers, team speak servers and general administrative costs.

So there are two type of PC gamers out there. The leechers that do not contribute to anything and go on about PC gaming being free and those that know that everything has a cost and donate to their favorite server. What kind of PC gamer are you?

Jamex1987
OP, you're an idiot. Ever hear of Steam? Hmmm? Purchase games and you can play them freely. There isn't a cost to play on ANY server. There isn't a monthly fee to use Steam. Its free after you purchase the games. Nice try. Perhaps you should actually you know, research a topic before you show how ignorant you truly are.

Why is this topic not locked? Is there really gonna be a intelligent discussion spawning from this? I guess PC gaming being dead or dying is deemed as non-flamebait and a serious discussion.

Mystic-G
Why is this not locked? Look at the website we are at. Gamespot. That alone should answer your question. Treating kiddies like adults and adults like kiddies. Leaving open stupid threads like this and locking worthwhile threads. Heavens forbid someone call the OP an idiot, they would get a point infraction or banned. Yea, Gamespot mods have become baby sitters and not out of force but due to choice. They wonder why people here act like children? Its because they continue to make sure the adults leave choosing to go somewhere these typs of threads are locked and relevant threads are left open. The mods on GAF have it right. Treat you like an adult until you prove otherwise, allow people to actually discuss topics and disagree with one another, even calling eachother names. However, ban the trolls and lock up threads such as this. Gamespot? Yea right.
