@donjuancorleone yea because thats how you edit an entire games animations...in photoshop with one click of a button. i hate when ppl use photoshop jargon that they found in a 2 minute google search to try to impress everyone and show that "see! Im just as good as these devs! I can figure out what they did by looking at a compressed video! See how smart i am?"

photoshop probably wasnt even used at all other than for promotional screenshots during its 2012 release

@macaque12 clearly they always use some form of "god mode" for these videos. Even with, as i stated above, how terrible ALL game journalists seem to be at actually playing video games, have u ever seen one of them die during a gameplay video? They must enable a form of god mode for these videos otherwise it wud be even more frustrating to watch than it already is...instead of watching someone who looks likes theyve never held a controller before, it would just be a montage of death-cam scenes and respawns. Seriously, do game journalists even actually play video games? or do they just get hired based on looks and personality? I've yet to see a gameplay demo on ANY of the major sites like gamespot, IGN, PC gamer, etc.. where the journalist/presenter wasnt absolutely TERRIBLE.

why is it that every time i watch a game journalist gameplay video, they are always frustratingly terrible? You'd think, since they devoted their lives and careers to this field, theyd atleast be pretty good, borderline excellent. How can you love video games so much as to devote your career to it, and look like you've never actually finished a game before?

Like these videos arent just bad, as i said earlier, its FRUSTRATINGLY bad, jesus christ just standing on one roof in the same spot using a grenade launcher the whole time saying "this is extremely hard, as you can see"...try, i dunno, using some stealth and actually moving around the map taking out the NPCs one by one with an actual gun? I seriously wanted to punch my monitor until the screen cracked, this was so bad.

i dunno if its just the quality of the video giving it that cartoonish look, but this reminds me of the Opening missions in Borderlands 2 so bad...

@ABIBASS @sam80jr no, first of all its 3840x2160...second of all like i said, your monitor has to support that resolution. I still dont get what youre saying "i thought it was simply the..." yes, it is simply just a resolution...but most monitors only support 1920x1080. They are the most common because they are good quality and very affordable, almost cheap nowadays. There are only a few 4k monitors and even fewer 4k LED TVs. the tvs you are talking about...samsung has an 84 inch for like $25,000 and a 65 inch for 8 grand. Theres like one crappy chinese brand that makes a 42in for like $800, but its a piece of crap with zero features.

4k computer monitors on the other hand are mostly between 2500 to 4000 dollars. Theres a couple smaller 24 or 27 inch ones for like a grand, but 4k is pointless on a screen that small.

Bottom line, u would know if you had support for 4k...even a layman would remember specifically selecting a 4k monitor and paying 3 grand for that feature

@ABIBASS @marcjobs u need a 4k monitor...i dont get what your saying? 4k isn't just a graphical settings you can "turn on"...u need a 3 thousand dollars monitor that supports that resolution, then it will show up in your game since the game pulls resolution info from what your desktops resolution is set to/can handle.

@observer98 at least its playable? is that your only criteria for ranking a game as good? you must be easily impressed, then. By that logic, when I open up Unreal Editor to play around and create a square, white room and hit the "test map" button, thats a good game because "at least its playable"

@deadpen @holtrocks also anyone who speaks in extremes is usually under the age of 12. Yeah, thats "all we PC gamers do!" we all just mod and cheat. Like less than 1% of gamers mod because you have to know how to design games to mod...even adding a new map to a game like CS takes alot of reading tutorials and practice and even then your first few maps will be terrible bland turds. And ppl who use aimbots and other hacks (which i assume is what u meant to say but didnt know the correct terminology) only applies to the online community which is a smaller fraction of the PC gaming community, and the ones who use hacks are about a half % of that smaller community

@deadpen @holtrocks you realize "modding" isnt cheating, right? Counter-strike started as a mod for half life. Does that mean playing counter strike is cheaitng to win? that makes no sense. without PC modders, Counter-strike, the blueprint for all future FPS including your beloved call of duty would cease to exist. So learn some information before you speak. Modding makes games better, fixes bugs that devs cant or wont fix, adds tons more content and adds replayability to a game u otherwise might never play again, and creates brand new games or even game GENRES (eg Counter-strike - CoD analogy)

@SamiRDuran yeah, that "joke" if u can call it that, has been said about 50 times by every non-creative, mouthbreader on this forum. But the time u said it, it was funny tho! u really thought u would be the first one to think of that corny joke in an article that already has hundreds of posts before yours?
