They key thing people always miss based on current practices (not saying it is right) is that you are getting a digital version of the PS2 game (we don't get digital copies of games that we have a physical copy for even for current gen games.)
The difference between Sony and Microsoft comes down to the disc. On the Xbox One, if you have a physical copy, you can play the game on your system, but you still don't have the digital copy - you'd have to pay for that.
Before anyone attacks, allowing those who have a physical copy to play the available PS2 games would be a nice option, but, the way it is set up currently, we only have the digital option, and so we have to pay.
@adam: Nolan North is Nathan Drake, the main protagonist, who else is going to play him? AND he's a damn good voice actor, along with Troy Baker, so why shouldn't they use them both?
@Vylsith: Bungie wanted Destiny to be the Star Wars of video games. That's what their goal was. Aaron Greenberg is saying Halo IS the Star Wars of video games. There is a difference in what they both said.
@kazeswen: They won't be splitting the console base. If they do this, it's basically a newer model of introducing "newer" hardware to us without labeling it "version 5".
