unless your buying a new computer or playing in very high, dont get vista

if ur in no hurry for dx10 go for an x1950xt or even pro, i run vista and im using an xt until ati puts a low high end 2900 gt or 2800 or something. imo mid range cards arent worth it and its not even expensive for a high end

some games with the dx10 patch look a hell of a lot better, and no i dont need a 1.5k pc, hell even 1k will play this game on high, the textures are a lot better though in dx10 mode

textures are better on dx10 this is a port, get over it im running vista and its fine. the os itself isnt really the problem, lack of drivers is. and its kind of obvious u shouldnt buy a new os just because its new......

striker extreme ftw, get the hardware rite, every gfx card company always has to mass tweak their drivers when a card comes out

the 9 series killed the fx u hav no idea wat your talking about, and the hd 2900xt is in a different price segment then the gtx, so if the 88gtx was worse...that would be really sad u call someone a tool and u think that means your correct about everything? please

u ppl complain this much, but honestly even though i played halo 2 on 360, dx10 low spec stil beats it by a lot
