The train doesn't appear on horde mode.Pittfan666Doesn't appear on Submission either.. not sure which ones it does/does not appear for, but its def. there...
Xbox live got owned...mattpunkgdLOL - first of all - that is VERY funny :) Secondly - on Major Nelson earlier today, he wrote that XBL would be down for maintenance (no update). The weird part is that he said it would be down from midnight until 2 am Pacific Time... this is much earlier. Not sure if they just jumped the gun, or if something weird is going on.
Yep - this is definitely not a connection issue - it is EXTREMELY laggy (read: unplayable) in most 16 player matches. Unless the host as an amazing internet connection, the lag is very bad. There are numerous threads about this in many different gaming forums right now - I'm hoping this will be patched.no, it's not the console.
I've never experienced any lag while playing any other game. The problem can be pin-pointed to specifically Team Fortress while exiting/entering a ranked match, or with more than 10 players on a single map. If it were my console, the problem would be more random and effect other games as well. Other people last night were complaining about it happening to them as well.

You are a genius, where did you learn that the 360 is stronger than the Wii graphically?goodlay:) Hehehe, my thoughts exactly. That being said, everyone knows that the Wii is about gameplay - and impressions of SMG are supposedly awesome. I don't have a Wii yet, but this along with reviews for the new Metroid might make me crumble before I planned on it (planning on getting one in Summer '08)
You have to consider framerate and resolution when speaking about how a game looks visually, and why not? Gamespot, Gametrailers, and IGN did when they picked Call of Duty 4 as the best looking game at E3, primarily because it maintained 60 FPS with its level of visual fidelity.RedfingersThanks Redfingers - you articulated that MUCH better than I did.
I completely disagree with this - look at CoD4 - not sure of the resolution, but definitely LOCKED at 60FPS, and it looks [at worst] equal to Gears.[QUOTE="ryanjtravis"][QUOTE="GirlGirlGirls"]But the best looking games will be 720p @ 30FPS. GirlGirlGirls
Things get optimized.
But Graphics could have been better if COD4 was locked at 30FPS.
60FPS cuts into texture detail, lighting and effects.
Dude, have you seen how CoD4 looks? Textrues, lighting, effects, etc. look absolutely AMAZING - and its locked at 60. The overall gaming experience of having it locked at 60FPS as opposed to 30 is much smoother and more immersive. Add that to the fact that the graphics simply look outstanding, and you can see that this game will be better than if the devs chose to have it 720p locked at 30FPS - there is no question about that.
