I am donating my old laptop, OS Windows XP home edition, to my grandparents so thay they can use the internet and word processing functions, but I have forgotten my windows logon password.
As such, I have searched somewhat extensively on how to bypass this hurdle and create a new password and/or reformat the computer. Most of the solutions I have come across require:
A. Internet connection
B. Desktop accessibility
...of which I can't due to not being able to logon to windows.
What ought I do????
This computer is a 2+ year old HP 17 in bohemeth. Also, upon reviewing the manual that it came with, i've discovered that when the technical support option expires, I would have to pay about $40.00 for a consultation; this would be an insanely waste of time and money.
I will be away from the computer a lot of the day today, so thank-you for any feedback and please be understanding of the delay in any responses to your questions.
jk, not bad. kudos for donphan.
I just about soil myself every time I think about their upcoming releases.;)
how's the length on kingdom hearts?Pokemon Mysery Dungeon is long but it sucks. Kingdom Hearts is much better choice.

If I had enjoyed playing the mainstream pokemon games (yellow, gold, etc.), would I enjoy Explorers of Sky?? Is it long? Replay value?
I am torn between this and the new Kingdom Hearts (358/2 days) game. I also have had limited experience with the kingdom hearts series, so, any feedback would be appreciated. Thank-you in advance.
well, it DID just come about 3 months ago compared to the Lite's 3 years ago...give it time.DS lite plays every game the DSi players, except for DSi-Ware games that need to be downloaded. The DSi-Ware games aren't big titles like Final Fantasy or Zelda though. If you own a 360, DSi-Ware games are much like the Arcade games there. Small, cheap games for a bit of fun. The DS Lite on the other hand can play GBA games, which the DSi can't.If you have GBA games (Or plan on buying any), or own a camera & don't won't want to shell out the extra cash for slightly larger screens, then the light is for you.
When it came for me to decide between the DS Lite & the DSi, I looked at it this way: I have a camera, so I didn't need a DSi for that. It came down to whether I wanted GBA games, or DSi-Ware. In my opinion, the GBA lineup is far greater, & will continue to be far greater then the DSi-Ware, so I went with the DS Lite. By doing so, I saved enough cash to buy a few games & had better battery life (Though the battery life really doesn't matter unless you plan on playing for 10+ hours away from home).
In short, if your only concern for not buying a DS Lite is the fear that DSi only games (Apart DSi-Ware "mini games") will start taking over, don't fret, because it 'aint happening.
Edit: I don't know the sales statistics for Nintendo, but I'm almost positive that there are more DS Phat & Lite owners then DSi owners.
