Rating my pokemon team

Hey guys and gals. I have a pokemon team that needs rating:

Donphan

Pidgeot

Garchomp

Houndoom

Scyther

Tauros

Thats a pretty balanced team, at high levels I'd give it an 8

Get rid of pidgeot for something decent, like staraptor.

What if i were to change one for a sharpedo, would it be a good idea and which on should i get rid of??

What about a murkrow or a swellow??

4 of your pokemon are weak to ice type moves.

1. we need the following:moves natures and EVs spreads. then we can do something.

2.get rid of Garchomp because he's an Uber.

3. evolve scyther into scizor.

4. staraptor is better than pidgeot.

ubers are the pokemon that are too strong for competitive play(wi-fi). here are the ubers:mew,mewtwo, ho-oh, lugia, celebi, kyogre, groudon, rayquaza, wobbuffet, garchomp, dialga, palkia, giratina, darkrai, shaymin and arceus.

so i wouldn't go against your team.

Right thanks to your opinions i'm getting rid of my pigeot and my garchomp so i need your guys opinions, what should i change them for. I have but two conditions: 1. They can't be weak to ice and 2. They have to be from the hoenn or sinnoh region.

Nah for some reason i'm not keen on imfernape and foretress isn't either a hoenn or sinnoh

I just had a thought, how about maybe gallade, isit a strong pokemon??

Gallades not a bad choice, although your team already has a lot of physical attackers. I would go for something else like Alakazam, Gardevoir, espeon etc. if your looking for a strong phychic type.

I would add alakazam but the only problem with that is that he isn't from the hoenn or sniioh regions and i just feel i need some variations in regions in my teams

Go to SMOGON and LEARN ABOUT TEAM BUILDING AND EVERYTHING.

how is wobbuffet an uber?

because its....ridiculous. it has enough helath to take sever hits, and return a OHKOs with either counter or mirror coat. with the physical special split, this is incredibly easy to do, was most things only carry physical moves, or special ones. very few use a mixture. add to that the fact that tons of sweepers in today's metagame use choice items, and you really dont even need good prediction. now, throw in the fact that his ability shadow tag prevents the opponent from switching to something that could set up on it, and you have a gamebreaking pokemon.

as for the TCs team, it looks fine for in game. if you want competitive advice (wi-fi battleing) the standard format for a RMT (rate my team) is the following

EV spread (you'll need to look up and EV training guide if you want to be competitive)

both of those are no better, murkrow has low states.... but a few dark moves

swellow.... is no better then pidgeot lol my knowledge ends on gold/silver and the beginning of ruby and saphire, dissapointmets
