My list includes the games that I like from the stated developer. Here goes:

Team Ninja: Ninja Gaiden and DOA 2-4

Harmonix: Guitar Hero 2 and Rock Band

Team ICO: ICO and Shadow of the Colossus

Smilebit: Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio Future and Gunvalkyrie

Clover Studios: Okami

SNK (original): Mark of the Wolves, The Last Blade series, Metal Slug 1-3, Samurai Shodown 2

Valve: The Orange Box

Epic Games: Gears of War

2K Boston: Bioshock

Infinity Ward: Call of Duty 2 and 4

Note - Some of these developers, unfortunately, no longer exist.

Gameplay and visually, I liked DOA 4. But I really miss the stages from DOA 2 Ultimate.

I was using my cousin's account (DAGOODS42), and as of this afternoon, I was 5th on hard, 4th on very hard and 3rd on master ninja.  I'm pretty sure I'm not that high anymore.

It depends.  I was facing the same dilemma when I got my HDTV.  I suggest that if you are using your 360 for gaming only, then stick with the component cables.  If you are using it also as a dvd player, I say use VGA as it upconverts the resolution on regular dvds.  Hope that helps. Also if you were wondering, at least on my TV, I found that the VGA cable provided a sharper image but the colors weren't as vibrant as component.  But all that is easily fixed with messing around with your TV's picture settings.
