The main similarity I see is a lack of games first year but it looks like (just like the ps3) they're going to be knocking hit after hit out very soon.

1, 2, 3 & S&K are all great the only argument I could realistically see aimed towards them is that sometimes you're watching a bit more than playing in fast sections but they all have parts that require "precision platforming" so if anything it mixed it up more than a lot of other platformers at the time. I liked SA1 & 2 and generations was a nice little throwback.

Yes, you must like everything Nintendo puts out to call yourself a gamer.... Of course you're not it's just your taste. I'm definitely starting to consider it more and more as time goes on though!

@deadline-zero0: my PC (as with most gaming pc's) is huge and quite heavy it's not practical to move it away from my desk and there is nowhere to put it near my TV.

I went Sony purely because I have had more fun with more of their consoles and games. There is no denying nintendos contribution to the industry has been huge but I haven't enjoyed one of their consoles since the snes and a handful of games on the n64.

@Thunderdrone: I think you are though it's £350 and even cheaper in the US. It's not a sign of being mature, not wanting to be ripped off is human! I just really don't think you have been/will be buy owning one.

If you are so concerned about the quality of the plastic and components in your consoles then buy a PC because that is the only way you're going to get what you're after. Not trying to be a dick it's just what console has this perfect build quality you want because I can't think of any off the top of my head.

#whocares seriously grow up. The only complaint I agree with here is the DS4 rubber coming apart. Mine did this but guess what? It's under guarantee and a known problem that is supposedly now fixed, so the shop gave me a replacement no questions asked. The other complaints you make are so picky and could be made about pretty much every console ever other than the rocking which no one would even know about if some idiot hadn't decided to start applying pressure (quite a lot of it too) to various parts of his brand new console for no reason at all.
