Not on PC? Are you insane? PC has the most market on FPS games. If is not on PC I won't buy, period.

PC wins hands down of course. Current Gen PC gear > Last Last Gen PC gear. duh! Now for 360 vs. PS3. Up-close: PS3 wins! 360 is too shiny. Far away: 360 wins! Look at the third picture how the trees on the PS3 are a joke. Anti-aliasing: 360 wins! Again look at the trees, radio tower, and mid range trees in the third pic. Does the PS3 have anti-aliasing at all? FPS: I have no idea, but I'm guessing it's a tie with the PS3 having a better CPU and the 360 with the better GPU. Loading times: 360 wins! Blu-Ray 1.0 is proven to load slower than DVD-9. 1st Place PC. 2nd Place 360. 3rd Place PS3. GG to all those who claim PS3 has better graphics these pics prove you wrong. I'm a happy PC/Wii owner.

funkymonkey4710, you could play Final Fantasy on the 360, granted only XI but you made some good points.

For those foolish enough to wait on DX10 cards thinking they'll be playing DX10 games might wanna rethink their decisions. First of all, YOU NEED WINDOWS VISTA and it's very unlikely that Microsoft will release an update for DX10 to run in full compliance in XP since its architecture was designed from the ground up with little or no legacy foundation. On top of that, Vista may not be for everyone considering the rumors of increased DRM measures and steep system requirements. My advice is to just get whatever you can afford now that'll last you 2+ years and then wait to see how the Vista roll out goes. First gen DX10 games in 2007 won't provide huge improvements overexisting games in terms of graphics because it's very likely the developers are still learning how to program using the new unified model plus the issue of programming for multicore CPUs. If you want an example of learning curve on new systems then take a look at Kojima's admitting that they're finally understanding more about the PS3 system and figuring out how to do things better (as demonstrated in the new TGS MGS4 demo). As for multicore CPUs like the Core 2 Duo and upcoming quad core CPUs, only 3 games are officially supporting them and actually utilizing multiple cores (Alan Wake, Futuremark's game and UT2007). I hope you all just understand the issue here, with a brand new OS and API rolling out at the same time, it's much more riskier to adopt the new system when your ultimate satisfaction in new graphics relies on those 2 factors plus the competency of the developers as well as cost. Just wait til mid '07/'08 when Vista is out for a while before you take the plundge... Note: This article has 3 sections so it's valid for those people who say that cards like the x850 should be included in the budget cards because the x850 GTO is based at 12 pipelines but can be unlocked or factory unlocked (thanks Sapphire) to 16, putting its performance much higher than the 1300 series at the cost of about $130 at places like Newegg. It even comes in PCI-E *and* AGP providing a great incremental upgrade for those with older P4 and Athlon XP systems. Although Shader Model support is limited to 2.0 I believe but for that kind of price who cares!

I forsee it being released early November at a Wiidiculously low price of $199 bundled with Mario Galaxy. Probably come in 4-6 colors (white, black, yellow, green, red, blue) with white and black being the majority of the shipment. They might include a free pass/coupon for their virtual console of 5 free games or something. It would be foolish of Nintendo to release it for anything lower because although the processing power is only 3-4 times faster than the GC, it's still brand new including CPU, GPU, mainboard, disc drive, etc. There's also built in Wifi isn't there? Can't be $179.
