How do you get Crysis lowest possible with mods or something. How do you get crysis 2 lower then just tweaking the settings. Im trying to get it run on my thinkpad x100eihazbadcom
if u r being serious then i recommend not to play any recent games (post 2008 8) ) on that laptop  get a good config laptop or get a medium budget gaming pc to enjoy such games !! try games released before 2006 on that laptop- just a suggestion, if u are on a budget and are really really desperate try reducing the resolution to 640x480 and keep every graphic setting to low or off , but even this might not work & post here if it works or flopped :P

[QUOTE="poovannaorcbane"]may i ask what flopped or didnt go well for EPIC GAMES back in 2007 ? gears of war or unreal tournament 3 ?????

UT3.

Everything that could have been done wrong, was done wrong. It must have been embarassing for the developers to read the feedback, and even more embarassing to know what their PR branch did.

whew!!!thanks for telling me this :) i didnt know that the game was bad & i almost ended up buying it cause thats one of the few MP games my friends play

DNF big time.

I suspected DA2 would have been terrible ever since Laidlaw first stated they would change the combat to more action oriented. Then the "Well, you press a button, and something cool happens!" dropped and I went oh bioware what the **** are you doing with the origins sequel...good thing it was *not* a sequel but a parallel story. It wasn't really a flop for me.

The same with Crysis 2. "Streamlining" the best features of a PC centric game + multiplat title = atomic failure, period. At least they did admit it was their mistake and didn't just go ahead and give all the blame to the community like Epic did back in 2007.

among the games i played this year i would say the biggest disappointment was DRAGON AGE 2, IMO i disagree that crysis 2 was terrible, its storyline was much better than crysis 1, though crysis 2 lacked open world freedom/mechanics like in the 1st game, it makes up by setting up a good & engaging plot & allowing us to combat better looking/designed/modeled aliens - i hated the alien creature design in the 1st game and the first game lost its hold on me once the aliens came out of hiding. silly octopus design :P

wow its absolute fun playing the demo!! gameplay can be very varied from shooting to melee fighting and its so easy to switch weapons :D jump jets are fun i liked the sniper rifle and the grenade launcher was a real blast taking out multiple orcs with one shot, melee combat is very satisfying :twisted:but i hope the game has a good storyline & plot- will wait for reviews and then buy, wont buy if its just a bland shooter **cough bulletstorm cough**. AND TO ALL SKEPTICS - THIS GAME IS NOTHING LIKE GEARS OF WAR graphics is good for a DX9 game so no complaints with graphics (but i would have liked DX11 support) warhammer fans will love this. MARK STRONG is the voice of the protagonist ,cool - so i will assume voice acting will be upto expectations :) camera angles while in melee combat at tight corners was a little frustrating and there should have been a multiplayer demo as well but i recommend everybody to try the demo

never liked it and wont recommend it to anyone but it was good of EPIC GAMES to try something different maybe they need to work on the story and characters more, i was never really able to connect with the characters, they were too shallow & moronic & buffoonish IMO

1. fallout 3- one of the first RPGs i had played and i got lost in the world completely to such an extent that my dreams were filled with super mutants and raiders :P no kidding ...seriously,:evil:the fat man according to me is one of the best weapons in video game history.

2.dragon age origins- the first time I came across a game's storyline that felt like an epic fantasy novel (lotr), and i fell totally in love with all the characters, they were so authentic and believable.

3. witcher 2 - IMO no RPG sequel has been this good, with a complete overhaul on every aspect of the game over the original making it one that will stand the test of time (minus the bugs and glitches and less monster slaying quests over the original, BUGS haVE largely been fixed waiting for version 2.0 ) the political nature of the plot as well as geralt's journey of recovering his memory is extremely intriguing. hats off to CD PROJEKT RED

4. mass effect 2 - a game that gives new meaning to "choose your own adventure". cant wait to see how my decisions/choices in ME2 will ultimately affect in ME3

5.witcher 1- one of the best dark fantasy tales ever told, the themes/plots of the witcher universe can be related to real life situations, with every character having moral shades of grey, and a very believable & cynical world it is.

[QUOTE="ssvegeta555"][QUOTE="StormtrooprDave"]

I loved it. After running up the sides of buildings every other open world game will seem slow by comparison.

evildead6789

lol, so true. It's a fun game just to blow **** up and cause havoc everywhere. A great stress reliever too. Plus, what other open world game where you a be disguised as a grandma, jump off a tall building to grand slam on anyone unfortunate to be there at the wrong spot and wrong time? To quote Muggy from Old Wolrd Blues DLC, "Not ****ing many!!!"

yeah it's pretty intense though , i played yesterday 6 hours and when i got up my mom said my eyeballs were almost falling out of my sockets

take care amigo- know ur limits.. if u didnt know already -people have died due to excessive gaming in places like south korea no kidding.

[QUOTE="poovannaorcbane"]anyone who pre ordered space marines played the demo yet on steam?? care to share ur thoughts ??Ownsin
I did. And i played the demo. And it was awesome fun IMO. Well it pretty much feels like a third person action game such as Darksiders of God of War, but set in 40K. The demo only has two levels and in both you go around with two allies and kill hordes of Orks, so it's kind of a "I'm the most bad ass guy in the world" game. The 40K imagery is great, they really nailed it in that department. Huge architecture, skulls, Orks sound like they should, etc.The combat is pretty brutal but a bit basic, there seems to be some kind of button combo system but I haven't really looked into it. So there may be more to it. But so far I'm very happy with the game as it's!

lets hope its not a "gears of darksiders" i really want this game to be good, when i first played warhammer i was like "why dont they make a 3rd person game based on this universe?" and now its arrived and i dont want to be disappointed !! now i am also hoping for a 3rd person starcraft game :D - blizzard are u reading this ?
