I want nothing to do with Wow. I'm on gamespot because i like games and there is an advertisement in the upper right hand corner for Wow. It's hurting my eyes. Look away? Even if i don't play that game, millions of people are? It's around me whether i want it to be or not. Blizzard basically controls the business. What am I to do just live ina cave and never play a game again?

These companies are so big these days I have a hard time thinking it really does. When i go to website after website and there is a wow advertisement even non gaming sites, it kind of speaks to how big these companies are and they can do whatever they please. I have my reasoning for saying this. I know these are just games.

Maybe E3 so far is simply not to your taste. What is it you're looking forward to? themyth01

I'd like to see more diversity for one. Another modern warfare. EA releasing madden 11 doesn't really grab me. these companies have been doing the same things every year. A hack and slash metal gear? I'd like to see something new and different? Motion control doesn't really excite me either. IT's already been done with the wii. Last year i did enjoy games like Heavy Rain. Red Dead Redemption was really cool. I'd like to see more done with the action adevnture and open world genre.

I'm sry but EA paying Joe Montana lots of money to stand up there and tell me madden is great when they have been releasing the same game for years doesn't impress me. The same goes for MS and their marketing machine and what they consider cool. It's kind of getting rehashed and the marketing shows.

Even Halo while good i'm not really seeing the Reach thing. Will it be better than Halo 3 and an extension? Sure but it's not that new. Same with Gears. Bigger and Better maybe but yeah.

What about for those of us who didn't really like Gears and Halo that much? Or Madden for that matter.

I haven't really seen anything that really jumps out at me as of yet. A lot of rehashed games and systems for that matter. This board isn't really hopping like it usually is either. Are people getting bored and sick of the same stuff being force fed over and over?

When it come to gaming services like those are Apple's worst nightmare, same with Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft :)

i'm sure it will be huge. But it will also turn a lot of people off. People are pretty adament about owning their own **** This is just a disaster waitng to happen as far as control. Huge corporations wnat control over their own **** So do consumers. Me personally I hope the american in all of us wins.

Me personally I think it's very bad. People should be careful what they wish for. Do you really want other people deciding what you can and can't play?

I really enjoyed wow for what it was. It's a fun game. Some peopel take it way too seriously though. I really like blizzard. They are one of my favorite companies that is the sad part when they start screwing over people who actually like them. I have my reasons. Long story but yeah.

When companies start screwing over people who support them that's an issue. EA/Blizzard do the same **** It's sad really. I grew up with blizzard and EA games. They were my favorite. They still are in ways but the bull**** has to stop.

Wow in all honesty is one of the most amazing games i've ever played. But they take it way too far. I know this sounds like another power consumes post but people dont just say this stuff for no reason. It does in ways.

LA Noire looks neat. Halo Reach also i'm sure will be crack that a lot of people play. I still want something new though... Rockstar and Bungie as cool as they can be.

HD was basically made a standard. If you don't have an HDTV they've basically said you are a dumbass. 3D not quite so far. I'm a monkey and do what they tell me to? Look at me dance.

i personally think this motion control crap is just that. they are just jumping on the bandwagon because it made nintendo a lot of money. It's really nothing new.
