Well, I am very thankful for your help! Been nagging my head for a long time now. Guess I'll head down in the cellar in search of the old PS1 and the game(s)!

Yes, NirdBerd! That was in fact correct! I could never have imagined that was the title of the game! But, there we have it! I remember the close combat sequences that appeared if you got close to the "blood angels"(?)! Thanks! Case solved!
As far as I remember it was set in very narrow, claustrophobic areas. Few, if any, open spaces. And it was definitely dark at all times. These robots, or one of them, you controlled had a large chainsaw as a weapon on the right arm...
No, but thanks for the input! It was quite silly of me to not mention that this was a first-person-game, sort of like a FPS. You did not play as the robot itself, but as a soldier or some kind of "driver" inside, controlling, these robots.
I had a game when I was a kid, just started with the PS1, but I've forgotten the name of it... This is what I can remember: - You controlled robots (or something reminiscent), they moved very slow - You fought Alien-like creatures, with purple heads dressed in a dark "suit" of some sort - Dark levels with very narrow hallways - You were a member of a team These may be very remote hints to go after, but it's all I can remember at the moment. Anyone have any clue what game this was?
