"controversial"

I am surprised no one has mentioned the god awful graphics this game was showing in the kickstarter video. I understand that this game is not about the jaw dropping visuals and more about story and immersion, however there has to be at least some artistic design that allows the player to be immersed. I truly hope that it starts to look better in the latter stages of development. It is not something that would turn me off to a game but I know first impressions are everything to most and if all they see is crappy graphic design they will not even give it a chance. Kinda of like looking at a baked dish that looks like crap on a plate but tastes awesome. Presentation is very important.

The big issue with the Wii U is that its major competition is not PS3, Xbox 360, or even the next generation, it competing against itself with Wii. The casual gamers that made the Wii a success do not see the same amount of new innovation that made every one want a Wii when it came out. The only thing I ever hear when talking to people about the Wii U is people asking the question, "how is it different from the Wii?". The only answer I tend to also hear is, "Well its in HD now and has a tablet as a controller." That does not seem to be enough for people to feel the need to upgrade.

Looks promising. Yes the graphics are outdated, but who needs that really in a strategy game. If the gameplay is strong and there are varied ways of executing it there might be some chance this game will be good. In any case does that mean anyone will buy it? Probably not. I predict 7/10

Im guessing at best this one will be 5.5/10. Outdated graphics, terrible looking engine, and if the narration is any indication of the story and voice acting then it will be Duke Nukem esque cheesiness TO THE EXTREME... "Battling for the title of baddest Mutha-fers in the galaxy" says all I needed to hear. Sorry Gearbox, this one is a pass.

Only problem I have had with the game is the difficulty. I have been playing on the highest difficulty and the enemies either one shot me or I one-shot them. There is no in between. Any lower difficulty and it is laughable.
