If any games have a chance of being anywhere near better than GTA V, it will be Watchdogs and The Division.

@GTAMARIO363 It's nintendo. The Wii U isn't even next gen from what it can do. The PS4 and Xbox 1 will pass that thing.

There's a reason the Wii U keeps getting the gimped version of games. It's like a pattern now. The Wii U just can't hold up to the required standards from developers.

Next gen hasn't even come yet and the Wii U is failing. Once the PS4 and XB1 hits shelves the WII U will be forgotten.

Doesn't matter whether the Wii U gets a game or not, it's always a loss.

@SIDEFX1 I personally think Open GL is best. It can depend though, since a lot of developers don't support Open GL. Many games are made Direct X only.

@SIDEFX1 @19James89 The hardware specs of the next gen consoles are so similar there's basically no major difference.

Whatever difference there is you won't be able to actually see until some real first party titles are made for the system, so people should not use specs as a deciding factor for their console.

You should choose a console based on the games you like and support, since software is where there will sit any real difference with these consoles.

@freedom01 We buy consoles for games. I enjoy the games from Playstation. Have since the PS1. Sony has yet to fail me so I have no reason to choose another console.

@SIDEFX1 It always takes developers time to really bring everything they can out of a console.

@19James89 @freedom01 People shouldn't choose a console based on the specs. Games would be the deciding factor in which console.to run with. Exclusives will play a big role in the coming generation.

@19James89 The software is what will bring out the consoles' true potential. Specifically, first party games. Otherwise most games will just look the same due to specs being so similar.
