@TarkatanWarrior I would say that Infinity Ward has been in it for the money since they kicked Zampella to the curb. Treyarch made a surprising effort with BLOPs 2. It's like the two studios have switched places, where Treyarch is trying to make new, fun games, and IW is just recycling the same game with a new story. CoD: Ghost looks like Bad Company 2 for crying out loud.
You know, I don't like sticks in the mud, but I have to ask...What will Watch Dogs do that is new?
from the gameplay footage, it looks like any other cover based TPS, with a few fancy gadgets. (Splinter Cell comes to mind)
It's open world, but you are a hunted vigilante, so you'd have to be careful not to set the cops on your trail, along with restricted areas you can't access until later. (GTA, farcry, and any other OWG will have total exploration the second you take control.)
So, unless the storyline is going to be Pulitzer Prize winning material, i beg the question...
How does Watch Dogs innovate on anything?
Ubisoft thinks they can add a smartphone that can hack ATMs and cameras, and that is going to revolutionize Open-world gameplay?
I don't know, maybe i missed something in the press releases. But this game just doesn't look new or exciting to me. therefore, not fun.
When are going to turn Feedbackula into your "Everything-bad-about-the-gaming-community-and-my-politically-correct-take-on-it" show you've always wanted?
Oh, you did that here?
Ok, no more laughs to be had here chaps. Feedbackula is now a "serious" show.
