I don't recommend doing it but if you are try using a stencil to make the design. This way you can get sharper designs on the ds. If you don't have any good stencils try making one by using a hard plastic sheet and cut out the shape that you want. Test it on a piece of paper or something. Then put it on the ds secure it with tape or something and fill in the stencil. If you want you could spray paint the stencil. I don't recommend it just because if you are not happy with the results your kind of screwed.

The ds might actually be able to put the n64 to shame with the number of characters it can have. The n64 cartidge had 16mb of space and the ds has up to 128mb of space. That is a heck of an amount more than the n64. Especially if sprites are used the amount of characters that could be made might surpass the wii in the number of characters. Now I have nothing against stating some 3rd party characters but don't name other 1st party characters (ex. Master chief) that is just pointless.

Megaman and viewtiful joe might not be too hard to get on the next super smash bros capcom has had a pretty good history with nintendo.

Thats my two cents...

first of all think about dual touch screen if the design is the same as it is now the dual touch screen would be a huge pain on the top screen. For you to put enough pressure to actually make the top screen react the screen would pop down or if you made the top screen stiff it would still be a pain to hold (if you think I am wrong just try it) Personally I want it to be a little heavier and a little more damage proof (the gba comes to mind that thing could take a bullet). I can see some kind of internal memory and a web browser. A good screen and good graphics (though I am not sure how much I think the gamecube is very possible) a cool thing would be if games were ported much like to the wii for this system. I can't imagine nintendo would be so stupid to release a new system any time soon especially anything that would be out of people's budget during these times (i know the dsi and whatever but that was in development for a year or so before too much happened so they wanted to release it before things got to be too rough thus it gets released fairly randomly).

I hope one day nintendo will realize that they need to breath new life into the series. It was an amazing game at the time it was created but now it needs to be redesigned. Maybe nintendo will finally be willing to change the game to be a more linear game (or maybe the next fable?) but there needs to be some more exciting elements that make you want to play it more.

Why? It replaces the current Lite, costs the same and plays the same software. No Lite owner needs to buy it and for everybody else who doesn't have a DS already it's a nice update.agehaelhaym

Actually the price given by nintendo approximately equals $180 where as the ds currently is about $130. So there is a $50 difference.

Obviously if you are going to put it in the ds union more than likely the ds is going to win. I do own a ds and I do like it but I do not own a psp so I can't say. I am sure there are a lot of people who own a psp and don't own a ds so it would make sense that they wouldn't go on the ds forum. This would be an unfair poll thus a useless poll.

I would like to be able to have downloadable content. That way rather than have backward compatability and have the gameboy games stick out so much be able to have it downloaded to the system itself.

I know this is kind of dumb to say but I like the idea that instead of the normal ds intro where you can select your game from the beginning make it a gamecube animal crossing style where you can select the game from where it is in your room. Personally I think that would be freaking sweet.

A fully touch screen with no buttons would get nintendo into more trouble this time with Apple (Iphone).

A larger battery and a more durable setup(especially with the topscreen and a scratch resistant touch screen)

make it a laser sensor screen:P that way we can avoid scratching the screen and have more of a wii setup for those who want it.

an internet function would be nice.

a pda would be pretty sweet

now I am listing off half the junk that the unspeakables can do.

that is all i really can say would be nice for nintendo to do besides the other obvious things.

Holy S--- you must have a lot of money because I am sure you probably did not wait for the price to go down on any game. By the way I thought I spent a lot of time on videogames but I still have not beat that many games unless you use codes/don't have any other systems to play. I would recommend Lost Magic. By the way do you have a job? Because that may make some of these games last a little longer.

Wow any of you people complaining about that game being hard must find the simplest tasks a challenge. Especially when they find that, that dungeon takes a long time to get through. If you think that was hard try playing the oracle of seasons and ages those were what zelda games are normally made of.

Seasons

Ages
