OK, to all you people who took too damn long to understand where Maxis was going with this and purchased the game and just now realized you've been ripped off:

Not everything's lost ! You can still protest against their stupid policies.

Just make sure you don't buy any of the thousands of paid DLC that i'm sure are already in the works and will be released soon. That is how you make your point. With your wallet.

Now if you're too stupid to be f***ed in the *ss once and still go there to get a second serving, then i guess you deserve it and can't help to feel sorry for you ruining the industry for everyone by supporting this retarded business model.

EA always online Alice with a tacked-on multiplayer mode to justify future DLC ? No, thanks. If it's done without EA i'll certainly support and buy it.

It's just a matter of principle for me now.

Based on the Nuka Break series, i say this has REALLY good potential to be an awesome TV show. But it's like it was said in previous comments, they need a team that's passionate about Fallout, a nice fat budget and they need to partner with a studio that won't chicken out on strong themes. Fallout is an adult setting and it should be treated like that.

In fact, just fund the Wayside Creations Nuka Break guys. I'm sure they could do a hell of a TV show with a bigger budget.

If someone still doesnt know it, i would recommend having a look. Keep in mind episodes are short and they don't have much money to produce it:

@SavageEvil , i completely agree with you. Looks like people think having a kid is as simple as giving birth and their job ends there. Having a kid is a responsability for your whole life. You should be worried and take care of your kid until you die. Noone is going to raise and educate your kids for you. It seems parents dont want the responsibility of raising and looking after their kids, so they just relegate it to the government, media, and etc and them blame them for the bad parenting job they did. I think everything comes down to creating a healthy environment both at home and at school for the growth of children.

@UnstoppableKARL @ocoisadificil1 Exactly. Sadly, we need to rely on good parenting to teach kids how to treat other kids right. And those are the same parents that buy M rated games for 10 year olds.

@Saketume @ocoisadificil1 Yes, but i'm sure that you've seen the geeks and nerds being bullied on a daily basis in your time, just as it is now. And guess who is the one that can't fit anywhere in their main social enviroment that is school and turns to videogames as a means of escape ? Those geeks and nerds. I don't have any hard evidence to backup my claims, but i can see a connection between a socially inept, introspective and mentally unstable geek being bullied every single day for years and building up rage against the bullies and the adults who do nothing to help him and a kid going into school and shooting those same bullies.

@UnstoppableKARL @ocoisadificil1 A little over the top, but yes, i think education professionals should be prepared to deal with introspective kids. Every teacher with a minnimum experience knows what is a kid's normal, healthy behavior, and they should be paying attention to those kids who behave abnormally. It is our money that pays them and we leave our kids, our flesh in their care. We should expect at least this kind of care and attention.

Everyone seems too focused on finding the relation between violent games and gun violence, or restricting the right to own firearms. But i don't see anyone stopping for just a second to think about the reason why a kid (even an unstable one) would bring a gun to a school and shoot his classmates and teachers. We all have been to school. We all know bullying exists and peer pressure can exert deep psychological damage on kids. It's about time people started to think about ways to protect children in school from bullying from other kids and / or teachers. What do you think would make a kid angry / desperate enough to bring a gun to a school and commit mass murder ? I agree that a lot of people suffer daily with this kind of pressure and dont snap and go on a shooting spree, but if you're talking about an already ill, unstable person, they just need a trigger to release everything that is held up in their heads.

Guess people should start focusing on the root cause, not the symptoms.
