unfortunatly my friend, GAME doesnt take back games anymore. If you open the seal, you will not be able to return it. They claim that they are not a rental service. Well, I'm definetly not buying my games from them anymore.

Honestly, I really feel that I bought into the hype of assasins creed. Ubisoft did its job and managed to sell me their game which is average at best.

Dont get me wrong, my jaw was on the floor when i first played it. Truley breathtaking graphics. A week passed by though and I realised that I'm just repeating the same thing over and over again.

Now repetition isnt that bad really and some game disguise it really well. Assasins creed's repetitivness showed and it got boring very quickly for me. I havn't touched assasins creed in like a month. I thought about just doing my own thing and not worrying about objectives. Maybe thats how its meant to be played. that got boring for me as well. Wondering around aimlessly is not something anyone should have to do in a game. I can do that in real life and I often do in London. I just wonder around with friends, its good to get out and about and its alot more exciting than doing that in a game.

So im a victim of hype. I dont plan on finishing assasins creed anytime soon. Its just too boring for me. Among one of the most boring games I have ever played.

What is your honest opinion of this game. If you believe its good then take a breather and see if this is not you justifying your purchase. You are not alone, I payed £50 for this game and I believe it was a waste.

P.S I normally love a good story but I really couldnt care about the story in this game.

I will say this:

Everything is amazing in that game apart from 1 thing. Just 1 thing.

COMBAT. the combat is pure and utterly terrible in that game. I loath the combat in mass effect. I hate it with a passion. I havnt touched mass effect in a couple of days because a certain boss fight in Noveria took me so many hours to do. I am completly put off mass effect as of right now and its all because of this combat.

prestige man. You guys mustv played this non stop. I got it the first day it came out. Im only on level 50. Not that it matters as I am constantly being put into games with nearly all of them being pretige and I destroy them easily.

i dont have the time or money to see if a game is good or not. I have to know that what im spending my money on is good quality. If i were to go by your thinking, id buy any game and would dislike alot of them. By reading reviews, I can be assured that what I'm spending my money on isn't going to waste. I am spending only on quality and nothing else.

The only purchase i made which i regret is assasins creed. Gamespot overrated that and they know it. They know it and I know they will never admit it. That is why I go to gamerankings to check the average now.

I will freely admit that I have not played any of the other devil may cry games. I downloaded devil may cry 4 and I thought id give it a shot.

I managed to get through the game by hitting random buttons. This is no lie. This is just my experience. It doesnt matter whether that guy in that vid managed to do something really cool. This does not prove that its not a button masher. All it proves is that hes very skilled at that game. I dont have the time or patience to get THAT good at a game. All I know is that I got through the demo without too much thought.

I hope people understand where im coming from. Essentially, from my experience, this is a button masher. The person in that vid is very skilled but that doesnt mean you have to be THAT good to play the game.

why would you want to wait until 5 is out? 4 hasnt been out for long.

To give you a rundown

call of duty 1 and 2 were developed by Infinity ward.

Acitivision wanted 3 to come out the following year but infinity ward needed more time.

So Triearch (or whatever their name is) developed call of duty 3 which is why its not as good as call of duty 1 and 2

Infinity ward had enough time to make their next call of duty game and called it call of duty 4 since triearch already made 3.

Now Triearch is in the middle of developing call of duty 5 which gives infinity ward 2 years or so to make the next call of duty game which will be 6.

In conclusion, dont wait around for call of duty 5 because it most probably wont be as good as call of duty 4 (the two arent made by the same developers) and its going back to world war 2 as well!
