@leikeylosh How would they do that? The original Bioware talent jumped the ship or got fired already. After EA took over and sucked Bioware's soul out, the name is just an empty shell.
SWTOR is a plain blunder. It has been obvious from the start that the game's quality was too low to support subscription. Also, thank you EA for proving me right, when I said that the game will be F2P before the year is over. Cheers!
Extract from Reddit: ""My husband was one of the ones that got laid off today. Bioware moved us in April with our 3 kids from DC, we put every penny we had down on a fixer upper house, and now this. I am scheduled for 3 major surgeries on Friday, my husband just had a slew of MRI/MRA tests Friday to look for a suspected brain tumor, and our middle son who has an autoimmune disorder is having a flare up. I just don’t know what we are going to do. We were here a week before the first round of layoffs, and have been sick and scared ever since. Moving is expensive, and I am less than a year in remission from cancer, so my medical bills are outrageous. We are so scared… how are we going to get our son treatment, my husband treatment if the tests find what they think they will… or me? My husband is an awesome guy, he stood by me for the last couple years of horrible health, never complaining, wiping vomit and shit and whatever needed doing. He doesn’t deserve this. This was his dream. Bioware/EA has hurt us so badly."
Steve Ballmer has just announced to put the pressure on Apple, so this might not be such an unrealistic scenario. As a result Apples Timothy Cook might feel under pressure and look at buying up EA. That would definitely make EAs CEO Ricitiello happy, who, according to Pachter, doesn't have a single clue on why his company sucks - “I had lunch with John Riccitiello last week. He was asking me why no one wants to buy his stock,” said Pachter. “He doesn’t understand what’s going wrong.”

LoL, Mr. Aas is seeking a "freer role". Did the EA chains become heavy? Also, the position as a "strategic advisor" is a euphemism, nothing short of: he is still on the payrole, but basically fired.EA is the worst company in the industry, with Funcom being a terribly untalented studio. I won't waste my money on this crap.
