I liked the poem. Â It didn't blow me off the sidewall, but it was eye-catching. Â I particularly liked the middle verse:
Â
"The Light disappeared with the food it devoured,
or to put it more simply:
Out went the power"
Â
I think the main part of the success of a poem, story, painting, song, or whatever, is to take the reader by surprise.Â
I'm gonna tell you now: Working on game projects is very very hard. A couple of my friends and I started working on what would turn out to be a spinoff of Shadow of the Colossus. The game took us nearly a year to create and, by the end, we had only landed one monster in the game (designed by mwa of course). Anyways, because the game was a learning experience, it took us quite a while to finish whatever we had. The interesting thing about the game; however, was debugging and updating. It took at least 6 months of our time to provide updates. We lost steam and just gave up because the entire team couldn't be involved. The reason why I mention this is because I wanted to point out that maybe Valve was burning out on Left 4 Dead, and didn't want to disappoint fans, so they worked up Left 4 Dead 2 to get the gears moving again. Seriously, nothing gets a team moving more than a sequel. Half Life episode 3 was probably put back on the shelf until they could be inspired by it again. Because videogames include imagination, they require inspiration. Just let Valve keep walking, and we'll see where they go from here. You never know, L4D2 could simply be a massive update for L4D. I dunno though, I never read anything about it.so, as we all know, left 4 dead 2 was announced at this e3 by valve. to me, it came as a surprise but im sure countless people are joyously celebrating the announcement. for me, though, valve was a real let down. i was looking forward to seeing something, ANYTHING about hl2: episode 3. i mean, its only been what, almost 2 years since ep 2 came out? considering theyre supposed to be episodic content, and that the third was supposed to be out by the end of 2007 )which was when they released episode 2). considering that and the fact that both l4d games are actual, standalone games, you can see why im irked at the fact that valve cant seem to announce a game that only has a few hours of content in it.

What part of 'for me' didn't you comprehend? Of course we BELIEVE them. The above posted are clearly OPINIONS.
Sorry I didn't say the same about your 'pwecious' ps3. your response is fanboyism to the Nth degree.
STRETCH-E
And it's not just regular fanboyism either. It's arrogant fanboyism, which is not even fun like the more lighthearted forms of fanboyism.
I'm a fanboy for questionning comments of "not one PS3 game interests me"?
lol ok. I'm not the one saying an entire library of games for one console holds no interest.
What? It's not that there's a complete lack of interest here, it's the fact that there isn't enough interest for some people to go out and pay upwards of 300 dollars to play the games within the FPS genre.
