@MikeManiac61 The difference is that GS seems to take the trolling seriously, not as an occupational hazard - IGN's site has a much more carefree attitude, and they seem to do a much better job of brushing off the trolling and abuse. Just my 2 cents.

Any bully will go for the target that seems to take offense most easily.

@AggrandizedUser Think of it as feedback on the feedback.

Good review - at least GameSpot editors have the stones to criticize like it says in their job description. I personally think this game is more misanthropic than misogynistic, but then again, I haven't finished it.

Either way, this is what I'm going to be playing for a long, long time. Let's just say the next gen can wait.

Great video Danny! And very fitting in a video about GTA to have some lovely ladies present.

@megagood2345 Sadly this is somewhat true, as there are plenty of internet commenters who assume that if something is not an issue for them, that means it's not an issue for anybody.

I myself am another white guy who doesn't connect with issues of gender or race... but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be talked about. There are plenty of people like me who will politely bow out when we have nothing to contribute, but we're just the silent sensible majority that gets drowned out by all the whiners. As usual.

@thorn3000 No need to be a negative Nancy - these are all excellent suggestions. Overmarketed or not, lots of people haven't dipped into any of these, especially Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

I agree with those who say, if you like it, why not pay for it. This is what it boils down to.

It's the same reason I buy stupid, useless DLC for Sleeping Dogs because I have a lot of love for that game. And because Wei Shen looks badass in motorcycle leathers. That's valuable to me, whereas buying LoL stuff seems dumb because I don't care for MOBAs.

"I think that publishers which have wider and 'more diverse' slates are far less risky than us, are far less creative. Just because you have a game in every genre does not mean you're creative."

And wow, I just looked closely at that sentence. That is some top shelf corporate double-think.
