I thought I recognized this reviewer. His last three reviews - Last of US, Animal Crossing 3DS, and Donkey Kong 3DS - were all on lower end of their respective metacritic scores. I get the sense that he goes into reviews with an overly critical mindset.
@tados99 @mrintro lmao "real people" real people don't have time to go on metacritic an purposely give a horrendous review for a game, especially when many of them haven't even actually played it.
Wow, this is such a biased review. I have played the game and have been able to play it and it definitely isn't a 5.0. You can tell there is some kind of vendetta here.. Almost pandering to the hate train. It's funny how people keep saying "imagine if you bought a car, but it was missing wheels" -- like you can compare two totally different industries like cars and video games. First of all, it's been WIDELY known that this game is Internet only. I mean, if you didn't do your research and bought the product anyway, it's YOUR fault. Lets use the famous example people keep using with cars. If you buy a car that doesn't have 4 wheel drive because you didn't look into it, that's YOUR FAULT. Buying a game and then complaining afterwards = your fault. On top of that, since it's an online only game, and a very popular brand at that, you would think they would have server problems like tons of other games today. And yes, bugs. Skyim had bugs, why didn't you dock the game 5 points? Diablo 3 had server problems too. This is honestly the first time I felt like this wasn't actually an objective review coming from Kevin, which is really, really sad. Looks like I won't be taking your reviews seriously anymore.
the bigger screen is all I need to justify a purchase, that was my biggest complaint about the original. telling people they shouldn't get it is not very objective journalism. on top of that, saying "sadly, a few minor design flaws" kinda underscores what you're trying to say. how can something be so sad if it's minor? the writing on this site baffles me
