@borrisimo Well i doubt it. the TressFx is so demanding even for a GTX580 I would like to know your average and minimum frame rate just out of curiosity :)
and the game is quite good and visually impressive. it feels new and fresh. the story is so good that it leaves u begging for more :) although it's not that short
I mean it's the only game i wish they release a DLC for ...it deserves the money
an amazing card! and for some reason i don't get the bugs and glitches that other Nvidia users or even AMD's get on any modern game. Well, I finished the game @ultra settings (everything maxed with tessellation and high precision on) except TressFX kept Normal .....i finished without a single glitch or a bug with an average frame rate of 40, a minimum of 28 at characters close up scenes and a maximum of 60 (vsync is turned on) and of course 1080P
I got a GTX 560Ti which still performs remarkably great ....a very good graphics card i have to say and an I5 2500K @stock clock.
Note: TressFX got a huge performance impact about 20 to 40 FPS drop. it does look good but who cares the game becomes unplayable with it on.
Also the 1080P is demanding as usual..nothing else makes a difference maybe shadows but not that much ..Tessellation got low performance impact so is the high precision.
Well Written Review, Mr.Kevin. ARMA is a well established franchise. ARMA III looks beautiful but I hope they work hard on the AI because its what makes shooters suck big time just like crysis 2 and 3, they are visually stunning but suck in terms of AI. Keep it up Kev :)
What about PC's huh?! it's all about consoles nowadays. :D :D guys chill i am kidding. Actually the next gen consoles will go along with the PC's just fine.
I hate long running franchises ...i mean if they just bring assassin's creed to a halt and start a new franchise "with this tessellated water and vegetation trend"..Using the same combat system and the sea battle thing, they could make a lovely game.
