Good games generally sell well. Bad games generally don't. Consoles with lots of good games generally sell well (PS2) Consoles with not a lot of good games generally don't (PS3). This is how the console gaming market works. Therefore good games drive good sales over the long term. mikemil828

There are many OK games that sell great (Madden series). And many great games that don't.

dead or alive, it still has the most good games. therefore, it's the best until something passes it. why would a system with fewer good games be better than a system with more good games?

seriously casey you need to look at a hybrid model something like I posted above takes all view points and gives each one a voice.
I swear this is like the sunni's vs. shiites...no one wants to give an inch and refuses to look for common ground.

If we can't find a common solution that satisifes most of us here (like 80%) you'll lose a lot of good SW posters.

Why can't we have multi-categories?

-Bestselling system
-Most AAAE/AAE games (2 point/1 point)
-Most AAA/AA games (2 point/1 point) (we count all games even if they are counted in the Exclusive category here)
-Mostselling games (attach rate type thing)

We can track all 4 of those areas then at the end determine the winner. Based on something like this:

-AAAE/AAE games winner = 4 points
-Console sales = 3 points
-AAA/AA games winner = 2 points
-Most sold games = 1 point

Both are important. Number of systems sold is very important. It's nice to be able to take your games to a friends house and play it there. Or if you both have them to network them and have a LAN/System Link type party.

And great games available is obviously important. It goes without saying you need great games to play.

But then the # of games sold matters as well (see point 1).

TC please for the love of god wait till TGS is over.

You could use some of the stuff announced and shown to strengthen your opinion.

FFXIII, Killzone 2, MGS4, Little big planet, White Knight Story= verygodly combo

however FFXIII could get delayed at TGS, even without it the combo is still godly. but not very godly to be honest.

the juggernauts = FFXIII KZ2, and MgS4. if all those come out in the same year...eesh.

FFXIII and MGS4 are the ONLY games with a proven track record. 360's 2007 line up > that line up.

No because ps3 NEEDS sales TODAY. So by delaying people from buying it they are costing sony money. I always wondered why a company would release a rumor that htey'd drop the price. it's stupid as no one will buy the product today.

other than graphcis how is this different form PGR3 (wihich I got bored with)? I wish they would do a burnout like game.
