I think this is a very good thing just from a logistics point of view. Having 28 countries all with different weapons, training etc is horribly inefficient. I think the EU has 17 different tanks all requiring different training for each. So you cant take Italian soldiers and supply them with french tanks for example. It's ludacris.

Also, anything that can limit the US's reach on the world is a very good thing. Now we just need to replace the dollar and find another currency to buy oil in and hopefully it happens sooner rather than later

I think it's safe to say fallout is dead. Here I was hoping for a return to the series roots, with a good story and lots of branching paths so every play though could end up vastly different. What we got was an online shooter.. not like we don't have enough games that fill that void already.

Donald Trump! Pissing off all of our allies and hurting our economy in the process!

Best president ever, so much winning.

Ya, it´s funny that when America does the same thing as Canada have done on several occasions, like with Milk or EU on cars, they get shown to be the bad guys.

You ever wondered why Canada has so strict tariffs on things like Milk, last I heard it was a 270% increase. Or the EU with 25% extra on imported cars.

I thought the EU only added 10% to US cars. Where did you get 25%?

The US adds 2.5% to EU cars and 25% to EU trucks and vans, it was a compromise both sides were happy with for the longest time.

"The United States imposes a 2.5-percent tariff on cars assembled in Europe and a 25-percent tariff on European-built vans and pickup trucks. Europe imposes a 10-percent tariff on U.S.-built cars"

And let's not pretend like the US is a bastion of free trade

The last Gears of movie was so god damn boring. I think Gears is a spent franchise at this point so I'll go with a perfect dark reboot

All that needs to happen is for the EU, China, Mexico and Canada to get together and put organised strategic sanctions on the US and this trade war wont last long.

Well, I'm curious. Our goods have often been subjected to high tariffs and taxes by other countries. Why are they allowed to do that, while we can not? Shouldn't we just have a level playing field?

Which goods?

Ivory backscratchers for starters.

Countries all over the world are banning and limiting Ivory because the ivory trade has decimated the worlds elephant populations. Why would they then want to buy "Ivory backscratchers" from the US?

who cares about EU and canada will back down

Thats a bit of a silly statement. Isnt the EU the main export market for the United States?

I'd love to see a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 in a decade or 2. The whole game remade to the way kojima originally envisioned it with vast open swamps and forests etc and with far better survival mechanics. You can really see where he was was going with the game but the hardware was just no where near capable at the time. Although now with kojima gone its probably not a good idea.
