I play Plants Vs Zombies 2 just fine. Same games sure, don't even try it unless you are in for frustration. Some games though (usually casual) work just fine unless your phone is ancient.

That doesn't really make sense. They put out a Windows version and then continue to update it. In fact it wasn't that long ago that they were still releasing updates for Windows XP! You will still be able to get Windows 7 for a very long time. You just won't find any new pre-built PC's coming that are pre-loaded with it.

How many services can console owners login to? Is it more than one or are you forced to use XLive or PSN only? I think that if PC were the same (heaven forbid) that the numbers would be staggering how many concurrent users there. However since the nature of the beast is to allow for more freedom (and not even use an online service) it's impossible to tell how many are really out there and it makes the numbers look very small.

I don't normally frequent gamestop but getting presents for the daughter and both times people stopped in asking if they had Xbox Ones left. Both (different stores) were sold out. So maybe in that store they were trying hard but others they seem to be flying off the shelves (Kansas).

I think you really should break it down further into sub categories such as gameplay and storyline.

Linear:

Call of Duty has Linear Gameplay because you must accomplish y to x to z. You can't ever go outside the lines such as exploring more of DC in MW2. However it does have a somewhat non-linear story as you jump around characters and sometimes do missions from earlier years. Such as going back to Chernobyl in MW.

Fallout 3: Has both a non-linear story and a non-linear gameplay. As you can go straight to Paradise falls and free the kids before ever having gone to the Lamplight. In other words you don't necessarily have to accomplish x then y then z. You can do them out of order and the game and storyline still continues.
