@Falru They still change weapon sets. Just that some of their class abilities allow them to create items to use instead of weapons. Changing weapon sets is a standard feature. Your elementalist can equip a staff or he/she could equip a scepter/dagger main hand and a focus/dagger offhand. Other classes have less choices than a warrior, but they still have them.
@TenraiSenshi @vfibsux Well, idealy any medium hosting reviews would have a set of criteria all reviewers adher to. Then a certain level fo consistency coul be reached and a certainty that major points are taken into account.
Going back a decade or so, Final Fantasy 8 was a great game, but the port to PC was so terrible I doubt I'll ever see worse. They forgot to add an option to "exit game"... With a different, ordered review process, that may be clearer than with the "the good / the bad" approach we have right now

Honestly though, you are not helping you cause by continuously stressing the point that you value only your own opinion. This raises the question why are you reading reviews in the first place if other people's opinions hold no value for you?
@gufberg @WolfGrey Yeah it can be very off-putting. First time in-game I was still trying to figure out what the hell I was doing and there were people rushing all around me in one of the events pretty much right where you spawn as an asura out of the "tutorial". Tooka bit to take a step back and ignore everything, take it slow and figure things out first.
@Kickable @Booshon @Volgin And you are surprised why exactly? Booshon's avatar is from Dreamfall: the Longest Journey, same writer as TSW. Kinda to be expected what his preferences are.
I read reviews and comments about how great it is that you can quickly pop into WvWvW and have half an hour of fun. The reality is though that half an hour is more likely the minimum of time you need to queue to get in. At least on busy servers.
I am not even close to getting to Shatterer. My "big" battles so far were Ascalon story mode and some big region bosses. The fire elemental in Metrica is probably the most challenging thing I have done so far and that mostly because people just cluster on the bridge and die in the AoEs they have not yet learned to dodge. The great worm in Caledon was rather underwhelming - I just rushed it and unloaded all my attacks on it...
That made th huge demon in Queensdale so much more fun: there was a mechanic we had to work out.
But a lot of dynamic events seem to turn into simple AoE spam. It's a shame. But hopefully they will learn for future events. As you say, they ahvea solid game to build on.
