Hey G013M - sometimes the cookies we use get stuck on a different region. if you delete your GameSpot cookies in your browser, it will take you back what your default site should be.
Hey topsemag55 - the uk vs. www only impacts some of the stuff you see (ads might be different, some pieces of content are promoted differently) - you're almost assuredly hitting the same server regardless, so performance shouldn't be an issue. That said, you shouldn't be bounced to the UK version - the next time this happens, can you provide a detailed outline of how it happened? Thanks.

If a particular game runs with no crashes, has few issues, yet gets a low rating, that makes me wonder if the reviewer simply dislikes the genre altogether.

I'm not an editor, but I can tell you that the standard for a good or great game is much higher than "it's not broken." :)
Editors are human beings and work hard to give an honest perspective of the game. I disagree with our reviews (and those on other sites) all the time. But I also disagree with movie reviewers all the time, too.
Hey arian487 - you may have noticed there are several threads in which people have requested an iPhone games section. The iPhone is certainly a phenomenon and it is something we are paying attention to.
Hey Morris - The switch to our new nav means you have to type it in once, and then your browser should ask you if you want it to remember your info, choose yes, and you are good to go. Hope this helps.
