First, I would like to know how the simulation plays out, if you have had a chance to go through it? When playing a baseball sim I always play the first two games of a series and if I won I would sim the third. MVP '04 and '05 usually the sim was similar to my games in terms of score and player performance. With the 2K series, I found that the simulation could range from a shutout by a third or fourth rotational pitcher, to 18 - 16 games. Really I'm just asking if the stats are comparable to a team, or are they all over the place?
Second, did they fix the fantasy draft? I never found an option to turn off the individual team salary caps. I'm a Pirates fan and didn't realize that this was a part of the draft and after two good players (Oswalt and Texeria) I was stuck drafting AAA and below players due to spending 90% of my salary cap on two good players... needless to say it was not a fun season.

1) Simming seems decent so far. A good variety of game scores, of nothing else. 2) I'll have to check on this one...

Well this is still a work-in-progress build but the FR seems better than when I saw it a few weeks ago. Some hitches when the camera moves quickly but otherwise pretty decent.
What have you (2K) done to make the pitching easier? I have struggled emensly with pitching in the last two games.mjwickstrom1

So I've done this with other sports games in the past and it's worked out pretty well. 2K Sports sent us a preview build of MLB 2K9 and I've been playing it since yesterday. If you've got questions about the game, put them in this thread and I'll do my best to answer them. Can't promise I'll get to each and every question but I'll do my very best. Also note that this not final code and there still might be some changes down the road.

I'm a little bit disappointed in the jersey selection--you can't design your own and can only choose from actual jerseys (though to be fair there are a bunch of non-NHL designs to choose from). I'm also a little bit disappointed with my choice of team names. But that's nobody's fault but mine.
