I have an off-topic question. Do you buy power nodes at the shop? or the power nodes scattered throughout the game are enough to upgrade everything?

risako9
If it plays out like DS1 you will need to have completed the game several times to max everything out.

Always go for the bigger and better screen.

WR_Platinum

This.

Your Samsung has the largest screen and not to mention its a Samsung. My 42" LG has superior picture to my borther's 46" lesser brand LED set.

Also in my experience 120Hz is only suited for live TV and sports.

i have my ps3 conntected to tv through hdmi and surround system connected to tv through optical. would it be better if i connect optical from surround directly into ps3?

chrislol101

You know I'm not sure if there would be a difference, but thats how I would do it, HDMI to TV and Optical to reciever. If you can just do it, you can only win ;)

Sadly I have to use the RCA cables for sound still, my dated reciver dosen't have HDMI or Optical.

The only one that really comes to mind ATM is Dragon Age: Origins. I bought it used and returned it 2 days later. Just couldn't get into it. I was also a little bit disappointed with Medal of Honor, only because at the end of the last mission I was thinking, "Sweet whats gonna happen on the next level?" *roll credits* "WTF!?"

get the 120 and upgrade it to 500GB or bigger...

Is there a limit to what the PS3 can use as an internal HDD? I ask becasus someone told me that there was a limit and that you have to create a partition for the extra storage above what the PS3 can read. Sounds like rubbish to me but anyone with a HDD larger than 320GB please chime in. I would like to upgrade to a 1TB internal system drive.

@JoKeR_421, I know you said that you can carry items/money over up to zealot difficulty, but does that mean I can complete normal and then go into zealot with all my equipment etc. from the normal play through? I ask because I have another source telling me no and you said you skipped right to zealot. Also Dead Space 1 only allowed you to carry over to the same difficulty.

Or can anyone else give me a clear answer on this, I'm starting a new game due to poor management on my half and would like to just breeze through on normal then go to zealot being armed to the teeth for the trophy.

At the same time, I would rather just play on zealot to start with if I can't carry over from normal difficulty.

All the first printings of the PS3 version of Dead Space 2 are Limited Editions at no extra cost. Once those are gone all that will be available is the standard edition which doesn't include Extraction. So if you want Extraction get it now while the LE is still available.Texas2089

Once you buy the system, that's all you really need besides some games. If you have wireless internet, then you're pretty much set right out of the box. If you don't, you need to hook your PS3 up with an ethernet cord to get online.

Amazon is probably the best place to buy a PS3

I got my 120GB Slim from newegg.com and bought my HDMI cable at the same time, mine came with a extra controller for about $15 under retail price of the controller by itself. Shop around some places have in house bundles.

But do not buy you cables from any retail store, I recomned newegg.com for all accessories such as cables. I pay under $10 for HDMI cables and they do the same exact job as the $60 bestbuy rip offs.
