Also yes I have been waiting for Nintendo to stop this kid-friendly-only vibe for a while. That is one of their faults, and I don't mind touch so long as it is not forced, or if it is, that it works well when implemented. But back to the main point, I think that as long as PSP 2 is made right then game's appearances should not be too big of an issue. I mean after all "If you build it, they will come" or something along those lines from that one movie. lol

Although I think the 3DS will be quite snazzy, the problem for me is I hate touch screens. I like them on Ipods and Phones but not on my gaming device. I really don't like the idea of playing with a stylus. Of course a lot of games don't use that feature and use the bottom screen as a map, I still dislike the DS series. I think my problem is really with Nintendo.

Again I like the PSP's accessability. It's not as accessible as an Ipod but you can still put most of your media on it. That's useful for me since I'm always at school, work, or going somewhere. I do like the GO and have one but I agree it has its issues.

I really just wish Nintendo would make their interface more complex instead of kid-friendly because it would be totally capable of having options to put your own content on it like the PSP.

But what system I get all boils down to Sony's next appearance at the TGS where they'll hopefully show what the next PSP is and what developers they're working with.

I really hope Konami is included, me want MGS!!!! If not I might go with the 3ds. But we'll see.

Yeah i get what your saying, which is why I said I'll probably end up with both. I'm honestly over the console war crap. I try to enjoy each system for what it has. Of course some systems are better than others but I'm kinda done following it because it always goes back and fourth. That, and I don't want to be seen as part of the general "fan boy". A lot of "fan boy's" have so much love for their particular system that they ignore faults and treat their system as something that has no faults and treats the others like they are full of them simply to support their system, which they then turn blind to everything but their system. Honestly all systems have their faults and are better than other's in their own way. Which is why I try not to let my favorties cloud my judgement. I mean because I do have favorites and for a while Sony has been my favorite but their making mistakes just like the other companies now in my opinion.

[QUOTE="MattMattson"]So, like will Mass Effect 1 be on the PS3 too? I ask this because isn't that the type of game where you should have a save file from the previous game? Not that's its needed but isn't it like convenient for story purposes and other ones as well. How are they going to handle that if they don't? Are they just going to say forget it and have them take a default path?JONO51

I'd imagine all ps3 games would be default start. That sucks though as half the fun is finding out what you caused from me1.

That sucks.

I want to sell mine to upgrade but I'm afraid of the value because of a small crack in the outer glass (plastic?) in upper right hand corner of the screen. I don't know how it got there, but it's terrible luck. Nothing bad (about 1cm), but still ...

Maybe I could get $20 for it?

Well if the crack isn't to bad I'm sure you can get something for it. They charge about $100.00 for used PSP's (1000 model) at Game Stop right and i bought one ok? So when I got it I also bought the warranty and I used my warranty to exchange a broken PSP for another one of the same model. When I got home I took a look at it and it had a small crack on the top left, but it was nothing too serious and was just on the outer screen so there was no real visual damage. Anyways my point is you may be able to get more because what im saying is, that if I hadn't traded mine in for another, then the one I got from them would have ended up being sold and it had a crack on it. So you could try selling it for more and also see what Game Stop will give you for it too. So yeah try that before you go for a low $20, so long as the crack isn't anything serious. Just try to see if you can get more first.

Yeah that's a toughie..... I mean to be honest i think it could go either way, but Nintendo will probably get the advantage just from experience. Really though we've seen the console market go all over so I don't know really. I would really like to see a new PSP a long as they advance over everything they did with the first one. One thing they have to do is have a second analog because that should just be a given, maybe throw in a touch screen and 3D features of their own just for competition purposes. I mean why not? Better graphics too im sure will come with it and if possible give me the L2, L3 R2, R3 buttons if that's not too much. Also I hope they stick to their original model because i didn't like how flimsy the newer ones felt and the Go was really dumb. I couldn't even play it because it's to small for me. Also the screen was super small. I know that was their fire to something like the Ipod but i don't think it's anywhere as good as that, but I like the concept they had but for anyone who had psp UMD's and wanted to play them on the Go they couldn't since it didn't read disc's, which they would then have to re-buy a digital copy of it to play unless they had an old PSP. If people like the Go then hey that's cool for them, and then Sony should just make a couple versions of their next PSP. But we shall see what happens, I do however want a 3DS though, sounds dope and a remake of MGS 3 is supposed to be on it? I can't wait. So I'll probably be buying both systems either way.

I don't really know but GameStop sells them for about $100.00 used. So it's definitely not worth anymore than that as GameStop seems to always have a good supply of them. So they are not that hard to come by unless your looking for them at a cheaper price or if the system is still packaged unopened.
