Well there you have it EA have CONFIRMED Mass Effect on PS3. time to play these games then :D, coming next year for PS3!

Updates on Mass Effect PS3 from Bioware in an interview:

BioWare's Ray Muzyka states "One of the things we're doing is that we're bringing a lot of the post-release downloadable content and will integrate it into the experience, so that PS3 fans can check that out and play it." Talking about newcomers to the sequel he reveals "We're making sure there's a really seamless introduction to the world of Mass Effect, for players that haven't experienced it before." He continues "We haven't revealed what that is yet. It'll be something that provides a good introduction and provides a lot of the back-story and introduces you well to the story-arc, and kind of makes you feel like you're part of it all. And then you can jump right into the action in Mass Effect 2."More announcments will be coming down the line for the PS3 version.

• Tons of DLC content from ME1 and ME2

• Perfect introduction for the series for PS3 players

( Gamescom is starting tomorrow and also Sonys press Conference,it looks like the rumors have already begun. NeoGAF user De-Mon is claiming to have knowledge that tomorrow, during their Gamescom press conference, either Sony or Electronic Arts will announce Mass Effect's shift to PlayStation 3. He says it's either going to happen tomorrow or in print magazines a few weeks later. Apparently, it's titled Mass Effect: Genesis. We're assuming it contains Mass Effect 2 in order to make preparations for a multiplatform Mass Effect 3 release )

Thoughts? guess will find out tomorrow on Sonys conference hmm

That would be cool, but lets not make assumptions.

I'm not gonna put much stock in it, as I sincerely doubt it will happen.

If they do a release of all 3 on the PS3 though, it'd be cool for PS3 only owners to experience this series.

That would be awesome. but i've been hoping for this for a while either way, won't get my hopes up too high.

Don't forget that tomorrow Dragon Age II trailer is coming out as well.

but i am a massive Mass Effect fan. and would love it if i could play this series on my PS3 and for PS3-only owners as well.

Mass Effect isnt even a graphic intense game. It has nice character models and that is about it.

Hoprfully.ME is a game everyone should experience.

mass effect is the best RPG offering on consoles this gen by a very considerable difference.
