@7tizz: Still a soft spot in my heart for the Wii U and the games I do own - "Super Mario 3D World", "Mario Kart 8", "New Super Mario/Luigi Bros. U", "Star Fox Zero", etc. An amazing system with great hardware, shame it didn't get developer support for titles like CoD, NBA 2K, WWE 2K, etc. I would have purchased these tiles for Wii U if they were available.

@MarkAndExecute: I own the Wii U and love it - but (my opinion) the following hurt the Wii: (1) limit to SD resolution, (2) limit to DVD storage, (3) poor sales of SD versions of games available in HD everywhere else [ex: sports games]. Also...why did they name it "Wii U"? Why not "Wii 2", or something that made it seem like something new & different?

@ilikeecchi: This is my biggest issue with Switch - why the **** aren't the Joy-Con buttons symmetrical??? For this reason alone, Pro Controller for me.

@NeoCloudZero: Agreed, I am in Canada and own PS4 & Wii U - will be getting Switch when "Mario Odyssey" is released. Waiting for "1-2 Switch" to drop a bit, will definitely be a fun drinking game when BBQing on the back porch during the summer (of 2018).

@jfhdnxcc: The only notable difference between Zelda: BoTW versions is that WiiU runs at 720p, while Switch runs at 900p. If you can live with 720p and lack of portability, spring for Wii U version.

@rk7p5: I doubt it, unless one of your friends keeps the cart. I would actually state this might encourage a friend to purchase the game, if it was good.

@Slash_out: Don't complain - $79.99 plus 13% tax in Canada = $90.39. This is a thowback to SNES game pricing once upon a time (Super Street Fighter II was also $79.99 plus 15% tax = $91.99 in ***1993***).

@Sepewrath: Remember: PS3 launched at $599 CDN - with no games, 1 controller. The PS4 launched at $399 CDN - with no games, 1 controller. The Switch is launching at $399 - with no games, 2 controllers (Joy-Con can be used as two controllers in some games, as 1 controller in others). While not as powerful as the other systems mentioned, price is exactly what I expected. No surprises here.

@maxenzo12345 Read what I write please before making comments where you "LOL" at someone. I said it takes the load off SOMEWHAT from the GPU. Obviously - textures need to pass through the video card to get to the screen. How do you expect to see anything otherwise? The difference - textures do not have resized to match a new video resoluitons, etc - the developers can have MULTIPLE textures for MULTIPLE resolutions and MULTIPLE scenarios. Giving the GPU one version of the texture and making it do all the work (resize, re-render, etc) boggs down the system and slows things down. And blu-ray - with higher capacity - allows game developers to store more textures, with possibly higher quality, and get it back faster. When you play blu-ray movies, you see that average bitrates can hover *over* 40Mbps. DVD can't deliver more than 10Mbps. I would say getting textures from disc --> to GPU four times faster can help, especially if a dev considers this when designing thier game.
