I wonder, how many of the people who are ragging on Carolyn for rating this game higher than GTAV, have actually even played this game. Or GTAV for that matter, seeing as it hasn't even come out yet.
If you tell me that you "don't even need to play the game" and that you can "tell from the review that it's worse than GTAV", then you are a moron.
Even if you have somehow managed to pick GTAV up early (which I'm sure the majority of you haven't). Do you really think you've spent enough time with the game to justify this perfect score you have already given it?
Lastly, it's her opinion. There are people out there that don't even like GTA games. It happens. So you're saying that the only people allowed to have jobs in the game journalism industry are the ones who think like you? Rating a game "perfect" based on the few story/gameplay trailers that they've seen thus far? That would be a pretty sad world. I suppose you would like gamespot to change her (near-perfect) review score (to perfect), or just fire her altogether based on your (all-knowing) input. That would make you happy, right?
There are so many more sites that have given this game a 10. Why don't you just keep your narrow-minded focus on those reviews instead? I can assure you, you'll be much happier this way.
actually grambyte: I'm not sure if you've seen any of the demonstration videos posted on IGN yet, but this new peripheral improves the wii-mote's motion-sensing controls by alot. I am eagerly awaiting WS Resort and the new games following it that make use of these new abilities. I've never before seen a wii game that so accurately interprets your actual movements, which leaves me optimistic . Yeah, maybe Nintendo should have offered this type of control to begin with, but improvements are always accepted. :D
these "features/editorials" only seem to be put on the wii games. Yeah!, we get it! The wii didn't receive the biggest upgrade in the graphics department. both sunshine and galaxy are great looking games, but since when did graphics matter on a mario game? btw, those screenshots don't do galaxy justice, nothing compared to actually plying the game, or watching it for that matter. I will admit that once underwater, the water gets way too transparent, it's weird, but I'm not complaining.
sony could release, an upgrade for more "moving" backrounds, YOU DON'T HAVE TO STICK TO THE SAME BACKROUND SONY! but that's not what matters that much I'll probably be buying one to replace my old one with a screwed up analog stick. I don't really like the new UMD slot though, it looks pretty flimsy if you ask me...
It sucks to be someone who works on a videogame news and review site and hasn't even played the wii yet. Oh, and the banner at the top of this page makes Iwata look like a political figure of a foreign country (Like he should be on some sort of paper money.)
