Did not take the most of my cake & my cake is all that matters to me. Uncharted 2 without a doubt looks great, but I much more liked the looks of Splinter Cell Conviction than anything else.

What happened to the good old days, when unlocking stuff in a game led to power boosts, power ups, enhanced weapons and neat extra modes and featurettes?

charizard1605

Actually, in Mass Effect, achievements do lead to some bonuses like getting extra xp, ability to make better characters by giving him/her an extra skill etc.

I like achievements. Sometimes they encourage you to do something you wouldn't do normally.

Interesting topic. My list goes like this.

1.Diablo: The game that really got me into gaming. Fantastic game, which is still as fun and polished as it was back then.

2. Command & Conquer:Red Alert: Another game which got me into gaming. Still a fantastic rts.

3. Command & Conquer: I would say the same with this game as with Red Alert.

4: Heroes of Might & Magic II: Fantastic strategy game, which is just as addicting as it is fun.

5. Outcast: A forgotten classic that I still love this day.

6. Super Mario 64: The plumber was ought to be here somewhere, right? Simply the best of Nintendo.

7. Heroes of Might & Magic I: Also a great strategy game.

My favorite rpgs.

Fallout 1 & 2: There is no game i know ofout there which defines roleplaying better than this.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: My favorite open-world rpg, with tons of stuff to do.

Diablo 1 & 2: Fun and addicting.

Chrono Trigger: In my oppinion, the best jrpg out there.
