US hasn't adopted the VITA as well as EU or JP, so makes (comercial) sense not bothering with costly physical copies there.

I think removing the mandatory Kinect was a mistake.

Kinect was the only thing that made the X1 different from the PS4. They shoud instead have focused more on developing GOOD kinect games.

Now all they have is a "weak ps4" for the same price as a ps4. Multiplat games are more important than they ever were, and they now represent the biggest chunk of sales. The only reason to get a X1 is for specific exclusives, and not everyone can afford to buy a 400$ console to play 3-5 exclusives per year.

When a game like Lego Hobbit, manages to be superior on the PS4, the future of the X1 becomes something to worry about.
TT is more of a fast production dev, and even they manage to produce better versions of their games in the PS4, compared to the X1.

After reading that, im not surprised that devs are starting to stop X1 development of their games. The time and money spent producing X1 versions wouldnt be justified by the low sales,and overall game quality, since they would require a lot of time (and money) to properly optimize the game due to the eSRAM usage and bottleneck/weaker hardware.

Not to mention the install base, the PS4 has double the install base of the X1 (7m SOLD vs 5m SHIPPED - shipped IS NOT the same as sold...).

I expect more devs to jump out of the sinking boat soon.

GPGPU is still fairly new, as devs get more used to it, they will manage to create better games (visual and/or performance).

I bought a PS4 but play mostly on PS3. I dont regret buying the PS4, its only a case of the games i want to play now being currentgen only. I dont see the Ps4 as an upgrade, or a replacement for the PS3. Its just another "member of the family" like Sony said. All 3 complement each other (vita, ps3, ps4) :D

Sony allows 2 handhelds (PSP, VITA) per account. If you go the device settings of your SEN account you can register 1 vita + 1 psp or 2 psp or 2 vitas.

You can even be online with the same game with both vitas (be online doesn't mean using online multiplayer, some games won't allow that). I use my PSN+ account on both my Vita and my nephew's online with no problem (so he can have "free" games every month).

New system with hardly any games out... what were you expecting??? Infamous Second Son free this month???
