From most favorite to least favorite, mine are ODST, 3, 4, Reach, 1, 5, and 2. Even though it's at the bottom of the list, Halo 2 is still a fantastic game and features my second-favorite soundtrack in the series, behind ODST.
Just did a 100% completion of this game recently, and it still holds up. It's truly a fantastic, quirky platformer that's plain fun. There are some rough edges and frustrating parts, but they're few and far between.
@Berserk8989: "Open-world action-adventure story with RPG elements"? I believe people consider Fallout 3 and 4 to be RPGs as well, but it's definitely a broad term. Similarly, they could also be called first-person shooters, even though shooting is optional. Hairs are split even further in the RPG community, especially when it comes to delineating WRPGs from JRPGs: "Shouldn't FFI be considered a WRPG if Dragon's Dogma and Dark Souls are WRPGs?" Stuff like that.
@xnshd: I think my hands are simply too numb (dumb?) to delineate any kind of "next-level" sense of touch on a DualSense controller. Rumble feels like rumble. Maybe I'm not playing the right games.
Just played through this. The guns and vehicular combat feel great, the level design is good, and the visuals are pretty albeit largely static, but the nonexistent enemy AI, overall linearity (the game tries to convince you it's an open-world shooter), unmemorable NPCs, invisible walls, bugs, lack of interesting story, and a distinct lack of world-building make this a completely forgettable FPS. More weapon modularity, character upgrades, and mission variety would have been beneficial, but that's not enough to redeem this half-baked, generic game. Even John Carmack largely agrees that Rage was outdated years before its release.
"Forever Entertainment does have experience remaking Square Enix games, as the developer previously worked on the Panzer Dragoon remaster for the Nintendo Switch."
This sentence suggests Panzer Dragoon was developed by Square Enix, which is false. Is the author trying to suggest that employees of Forever Entertainment have been involved remakes of other Square Enix games?
@marcosauron: I think you're misinterpreting Elijah's comment. He's simply saying that because this new series is not an adaptation of the three-part novel, The Lord of the Rings, it should not be called The Lord of the Rings. He brings up the Second Age and Third Age simply to note that the show will take place during the former and the novel takes place during the latter.
