There's no reason why this should get the same score as the console version. That came out nearly 3 and a half years ago and was scored in view of other console games of the time. This review is scoring it as a new PC game. New games continue to evolve- this is an only slightly modified port of a console game. Also, the reviewer does point out you can still use a controller if you want. The m/k control isn't why the score dropped 1.5 points...
@Suikogaiden I'll be honest- even though it's completely irrational, I did start to get attached to some of my XCom soldiers! I even started to think of certain soldiers as being "lucky" or "unreliable" even though there is no logical basis for doing so...
@bloody-hell This reviewer keeps calling her Laura. Also, almost every other review has been positive. I know it's just one person's opinion, but this guy is definitely in the minority.
Keep going, because apparently the new Tomb Raider is excellent! On the other hand I don't think I'll enjoy this as much if you don't end up slamming your head into the desk...
I'll wait for an official announcement before I make my mind up, but if this turns out to be accurate then it will only be benefiting Sony. It would be a remarkable misjudgement on Microsoft's part.
@Fernin-Ker I know what you mean, but there have been games that have a genuine emotional and/or psychological impact. The recent Walking Dead game stands out for me in particular.
