Well in a couple of months I should be getting a new gaming rig and with a couple of exeptions I have pretty much beat every WWII FPS out there that will run on my system. Until I get a new PC I've been going back to play a bunch of WWII games from different generes.

These mostly being Sims and RTS games. Ive kinda gotten more into RTS games lately as I started playing Blitzkrieg 2. Prior to that the only RTS games I had played though and beat the campaigns for where the origional Blitzkrieg, Warcraft III, a few custom maps/conquer the world campaigns in Rise of Nations, C&C Generals, and the General Patton Campaign in Empires: Dawn of the Modern World.

Anyways cruising gamespot and Ebay I found a bunch of killer WWII RTS games (cheap too between $3 and $10!) and got the idea that I will do something kinda cool. Im gonna get these games and play them historically...1939-1945 completeing the missions in each game in historical order.

For example, say I play the 1st battle of Kharkov in Axis and Allies, then say historically the next battle available is Stalingrad in Codename Panzers Phase One. I would play that next. Being the games I will be playing have campaigns on a historical timeline I can progress though several games at the same time fighting RTS battles in historical order jumping from game to game.

Anyways here is the list of games I will be trying to beat in this manner(in no specific order):

Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps

Axis and Allies RTS

Codename Panzers Phase Two

To Serve and Command

Faces of War

Moscow to Berlin Red Seige

1944 Battle of the Bulge

Codename Panzers Phase One

Soldiers: Heroes of WWII

Blitzkreig 2

Blitzkreig 2 Liberation

Blitzkreig 2 Fall of the Reich

Sorry no Company of Heroes becuase I dont think my system specs are up to it at this time

Anyways this seems kinda like a fun Idea and should keep me busy gameing till I can afford my next system! :P

Beat Battlestrike: Force of Resistance. Fun game but the ending was kinda disapointing. Some sort of closure would have been nice! lol

That sucks! Why the Russians gotta be so greedy! :P I'll see if I can find an english walkthrough and snag it on the internet though. The Russkies are just gonna have to deal with an American playing their game lol. Thanks for the info though! $10 is allot? lol wow good thing you dont have to pay the $60 for the usual full price for new games here. ;)

Yeah, the company must have folded up. Ill keep an eye out for a copy though.

As for Shanghai Dragon, they have a demo available on gamespot BUT it in no way does the finished game justice. The finished game is cool with lots of cut scenes, a full story, 16 long missions, some really cool weapons, and some decent animations. I had low expectations going to this game but Its just really fun to play. lol Thats all I can really say abou it. Worth the $10 I spent on it. :D

Let me know what you think if you get your hands on a copy.

I checked out the website for that WWII game you are looking for.  They had an english translated page (although poorly) lol From the looks of it the closest you're going to get to playing the game in english is playing it with the english walkthough that the devlelopers have included on the page.  Better then nothing I guess.

Also like I said in my other post, I'm playing Shanghai Dragon right now and to be honest im suprised!  The game is actually pretty good considering its low budget from China.  I would recomend it if your looking to fight in the never before covered Chinese front of WWII.  I actually find myself being pulled away from Airborne to play this game. lol   Check it out if you can get your hands on this rarity, I think you'll enjoy it.

Also here is a game play vid from "The Truth About 9th Company"   I belive the game was only released in Russia.  It looks cool if you ask me.  Only game I know of that shows "Russia's Vietnam"

Check it out! ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iolB59TjqM

Beat Call of Duty: Final Fronts, Battle for the Pacific PS2 and Battle for the Pacific PC.

Final Fronts was a pretty fun game and reminded me of a mixture of Finest Hour and COD3. Unfortunatly it was less challenging and slightly shorter then many of the other past COD titles but all in all a great addition to the series. Battle for the Pacific on the PC was actually allot of fun and I thought it was well enough done even though at times it felt rushed. The game was just way to short and sometimes the pathfinding of my team leader would suck. Additionally I disliked the fact that one recieved a failed mission for getting more then 20 yards away from the team leader. Other then that though I enjoyed it.

Battle for the Pacific on the PS2 other hand was dissapointing. It felt like a 8 year old game. To put it into persepctive it was like playing the origional PSONE Medal of Honor with boring objectives. You never meet an allie in the game with the exeption of cut scenes. You could tell this game was rushed. One glaring example is a cutscene with an aussie soldier..WEARING AN AMERICAN UNIFORM! lol They where so lazy they just changed the voice on the charecter and thats all. lol Anyways, Although longer then the PC version no where near as good quality or content wise. The PC version and PS2 versions of the game are two compleltly different games so I give them credit for that I guess.

Currently I am fighting my way though the following games: Medal of Honor Airborne, Battlestrike: Force of Resistance, Battlestations Midway, Shanghai Dragon (Finally found a copy on Ebay YEY!!!) WWII battlestike and The Hell in Vietnam.

One thing about WWII Battlestike,,,the game looks like fun but it keeps crashing on me! When ever I zoom in using the flak gun on towrd the end of the second mission the darn thing crashes. Anyone know of a patch?
