This is like asking why Nintendo keep making Mario games, we all know he's a crap character, but people still buy the games.

Of all y games, the only one I haven't completed is Mercenaries 2, I got bored of it, but hey, I got it for a bargain (£7, oh yeah).
No, you're not the only one. I have to disagree with you about the gameplay, in Acts 1 and 2 it is superb, but yeah, it's not that great overall. The cutscenes are over-tedious, they really don't need to be that long. The story is dragged out, yet again, doesn't need to be that long. And the gameplay really deteriorates as you get further on, the final boss fight is a joke (sorry to say it fanboys, but it's the truth). And if you take out the cutscenes, there only about 5 or 6 hours of gameplay, so if your not interested in the story, there's really not a lot you'll get out of the game. It's not the worst game in the world, but still, not the best either.
Once you get used to it, it's a really good game. It's been out a while though, so alot of the noobs have lost interest. But still, it's not too hard to kill people, you just have to do it right. Try to pick up weapons like the rocket launcher, sniper rifle, binoculars, assualt rifle (very good if you can lock it on first) etc. There's also a lot more to the game that ground combat, air combat is great, and so are the land vehicles such as the tank and ATV. You'll quickly find your preffered mode of combat, I personally like a bit of everything. Anyways, it's a really good game, just takes some getting used to, to begin with maybe try staying out of the official servers to start with (especially Zones games) as all the more hardcore players tend to play in those.
Why on earth would I put it on my blog? Nobody reads those things.

They were making a game?
jdiamnz69
Yeah, It released Oct 6th.....
I know, I was making a snarky comment about how underhyped that game was. They were making a game?
Wow. I just downloaded the Bayonetta demo (y'know, the demo for that really hyped up game), played it, and... well that was it. I wasn't amazed, it didn't blow me away, it wasn't revolutionary, the only word I can use to describe it is... meh. I felt the same way after playing that game as I did playing Wet. Hype fail.
I'd probably go rip some little kid's head off at the park. I can imagine that being quite fun, especially seeing all of the terrified people. Terrified people, just waiting... waiting to be torn to shred in an orgy of blood and gore
*ahem* errr, not sure what came over me there.
Meh, nothing special IMO. I'd much rather get GOW3.
