Bayonetta = Meh.

Wow. I just downloaded the Bayonetta demo (y'know, the demo for that really hyped up game), played it, and... well that was it. I wasn't amazed, it didn't blow me away, it wasn't revolutionary, the only word I can use to describe it is... meh. I felt the same way after playing that game as I did playing Wet. Hype fail.

Wasn't really too interested in it, and the talk about the PS3 getting some crappy port killed what little interest I had. There are too many good games coming out to give my money to people who can't even perform their jobs up to industry standards.

Bayonetta is a hype fail? What hype? There'a couple of signatures running amok, but that's the extent of hype I've seen.

It may not have the hype of Uncharted 2, still, i'm one of the people hyping it, and i can't wait to play the demo, just for this game i'm creating my PSN Japan account, so maybe tonight i'm gonna put my impressions.

BTW, this game looks so sick, this may be my first 2010 game.

Bayonetta wasn't really in my radar then I played the demo and wow, it was pretty crazy and the controls felt right and I had fun with it. I won't be getting the ported version but I'm getting the original version later on.

I guess the cool thing nowadays is to bash Bayonetta. You have a blog for a reason.

This has been cool forever.

First it was Bayonetta = Sarah Palin, then it was Bayonetta = DMC for girls, now it's "lol it's nothing much."

I can't control how people feel, so whatever. You end up just not caring after a while.

It was really fun. I think I'm going to enjoy the final game.

That's not the point. The TC apparently opened the thread only to bash the game (or rather its demo). If the TC would have simply added "How do you feel about the demo?", it would have been another story.

i hate bayonetta. ugly washed out graphics, ugly main character, old devil may cry gameplay, butterflies and angels ? what the hell....?

Because that's what hate is. Not liking, or being indifferent towards is one thing, but how do you hate something you haven't even played?

I didn't like the demo either. At first I was pretty hyped for the game but that all died once I played the demo. The graphics are passable but it seems like there is not enough detail. Also the camera should be a little bit closer on the main character because she looks to small on the screen and it doesn't show enough detail. I also had problems with the camera which was a pain and the fighting system was blah and not interesting. There was some cool moves don't get me wrong and cool situational moves but the action seemed flat and like they were trying too hard.This is my conclusion this game reminds me of devil may cry2 where the graphics were ok the actionwas ok but itwasn't great and fell flat.The other devil may cry games I loved Ieven like nero in part 4 but this game just falls short of comparing to a game like that.But this is all my opinion so for those who enjoy the game thats good I just don't like it.

I'm putting the date on my calender. I also have to pre-order it and buy a camping kit because I'm going to be the first one to get it. I don't care if I have to sleep with the GameStop employee.

Ok, i just finish the demo and i have to say, is awesome, is everything i was expecting and more, the action is so sick, sick, sick, i love the combos, and i love how cocky she is, it seems also that the game can get a little bit hard, the graphics are good too, and the gameplay is pure DMC fun, sure, a little bit of button mashing, but maybe because you don't even know what your doing, the enemies are great, i can't wait to see more of bosses, on the other hand, the camera sometimes is a problem, but nothing a la NGZ2, overall, i love it i can't hardly wait for it, one of my most hyped games of 2010.

BTW, i didn't notice anything like framerate issues, maybe i didn't put a lot of attention in that.
