Is it true that there are going to be a chip in 360's coming out that will help prevent the red light errors ? Or are people just making this up ? Because if it's true, I'm wondering if they will install these chips into the older 360's when they get sent in for repairs.
Hey guys. I called Microsoft today in order to ask them a question about the HD-DVD player and the mail-in rebate. Anyways, a couple of days ago I called in because I got hit with the 3 red lights deal. When I called, they had a recording telling me about the status of my 360 and it said, "You're status on your console is that it has been repaired and shipped. You will recieve it within 5 days." (Something along those lines.)
Is this accurate ? Or does it say this all the time ? I was just wondering if I should be excited, or take this with a grain of salt.
It does. My brother bought one today. King Kong comes in the box along with the remote. And we went and mailed the 5 movie thing in. Plus it's $150 at Best Buy which is $30 cheaper than alot of other places.
